Frenkerr Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Hi Guys, Even though we all play for fun, i was wondering how the ladder system works. How is a players rank calculated? Does it only involve the amount of points a player accumulates in a game, or do kills count differently? (One could for example snipe, and not hit any vehs/buildings, have 40 kills and still only have 1200 points) And does it matter if you leave the game before the map is over? Maybe this is all a big secret, but i was just wondering so decided to ask Happy gaming!
BeerBaron Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Your rank in Rencorner is decided on total points accumulated. Your rank on XWIS is decided on the 'ELO' of your match. If you win, it will always be a positive change, if you lose, it will always be negative. Depends on how much repairs you did, vehicles/buildings destroyed, and kills. Thats why if 1 player whored the entire match and got MVP but didnt kill anything, they arent at the top of that list when the map ends. And no, it doesnt matter if you leave.
Gridloc Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Depends on the length of the match on whether or not your leaving matters....just sayin
Frenkerr Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 Is the rank updated straight away? Sometimes im fairly high ranked in the losing team, and the next round my rank would improve, even tho my team lost the previous match.
Lucky Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I assume you are talking about your rank at Rencorner, in which case, yeah win or loss doesnt affect the total points you earned in a particular game and hence you can get to a very high rank without actually winning alot of battles. The scenario is different on XWIS though.
