Starcraft Issue

Since I am on a new laptop(but still a Intel CPU and Intel HD) I reinstalled this game.

Did the usual with the lame ass colors being mixed up but another issue came out

Does anyone know what the pie is this?

The game only shows on a small square in the top left of my screen, the other 3/4 parts are all black. I've never had this issue before, I do have the 'Scaling Full-Screen' in my Intel Panel. Anyone knows what might be wrong?

I did also try some commands for resolution on a shortcut, to see if it would make it 640x480(game's resolution) but with no luck.

Sc1 ofcourse, the others have advenced Video options like resolution.

This one is 640x480 only, but I <NEVER> had this issue before. On my other laptops it stretches on all the screen, on this one it's only a small square.

Yes it is, only that his game is centered and mine in on the top left corner.

I searched about this issue for hours with no luck, most people do the compatibility things or the 'Scale to Full Screen' but that doesn't work for me, still a small image.

I had a similar problem, though with another game Dungeon Keeper. It had to do with the resolution the game forces itself in, hidden somewhere in a config file. The fact that I was using a dual screen didn't help also. Is your game updated to the latest version?

Hey you could try playing on a 60" TV screen though, the size would be about just right!

I was trying to run the first C&C Red Alert I ran into the same problem.  I changed the compatibility settings for 640x480 res and disable visual themes.  I then opened the screen resolution in control panel and left the window open on the desktop and ran the game.  Worked just fine after that.

Well it's not the same around here since I tried everything.

Really bothers me because on my other laptop it works just fine.

do you have a laptop with 2 gfx cards (intel hd and ..?).

but it sounds like a driver issue. go to the manufacturer website and download it ;)

Well I fixed it, I reinstalled windows anyway.

Got the drivers from Intel(seems that the ones from the HP site are fucking outdated >_>)
