Goztow Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Let's face it, it's a terrible map, but maybe putting the mine limit to 1 could help to actually make it possible to kill a building. So I suggest to put the mine limit to 1. I also suggest to disable weapon drop. That way attacking the harv actually makes a difference. People will need money to buy characters. Killing the HON or barrs will make a difference.

If it wasn't timed it'd be a disaster of a map.

But this type of teamwork would be encouraged if u didn't find all weapons in the field all the time. People stop trying to work as a team if it's too easy to find weapons everywhere.

It took me about 5 mins to get a full 6 meds rush going on snow the other day, which obviously destroyed the Nod Base. It took a lot longer to get a 10 framers rush going on field, I had to buy them before people got in but eventually they did and it destroyed the age. If people get some incentive to work as a team, it seems they do. That's why I make these suggestions.

The server tries it's best to cater for the needs of the remaining player base which, as we discussed at length on the other thread, is marathon biased. That doesn't mean it should be exclusively marathon maps, just like the player base isn't exclusively marathon lovers. 1

Okay, I agree, but why just this one map out of the fifteen or so in the rotation? If it were more sporadic then maybe I would be on your side, but seriously it's just the one map. It sucks to finally have your favorite map come up and then you aren't even able to play it to the full extent.
