There's something else some may not be considering that we ran into on Friday. Since Rencorner uses Ren-X style rules (booo) that allow for you to purchase vehicles even after a WF is dead... a game of Under could go on forever. We killed their WF, and 4 hours later they were still loaded with med tanks and everyone had 5000 credits to continue buying them forever. So killing the WF had 0 effect. Again, might as well have the Obelisk still shoot when the power is dead A possible solution we thought of (besides turning it off), is have vehicles purchasable for only a certain amount of time after the destruction of the wf/strip. Edit: Forgot to mention, AOW got turned on for a few maps, and it was f'n awesome

Reminds me of the old days of clanwars where we ended up winning or losing unders just because of time and points. Hate that feeling of a map ending without any building on any side being destroyed. It's just like unfinished business. 1

dubstar Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I would like to recommend changing the AOW injection so all maps in the rotation will be played at least once in AOW mode. Currently it is set to 20%, my suggestion: change it to every 4th map rather than the current settings. This way every map will be played in AOW mode over the course of 4 rotations.

dubstar Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 even if it had a random start location upon server boot, every 5th map would result in AOW being played on the same maps every rotation or until the server restarts unless maps were added/removed then this would change the pattern. personally I would have set all "Nod maps" (Islands, city, etc) to AOW in an effort to balance GDI's chances of winning and keeping the server populated. 50% of the time if I spawn gdi on Islands & city I will leave, most people do.

If we do what goztow said (idr how it's being changed), I'm sure that WD would avoid this occurrence. Also remember that maps like sand will always be timed.

DJEYEK Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Sand marathon is a disaster I dont get it, im pretty sure we said we want to add BunkersTS to the Rotation, what happened to this? The only times bunkers comes up is when a Mod sets it as next Map. This Map is a good 1, add it finally to the rotation plx. 1
