Nudle Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I am looking for a way to ignore/mute-just-for-me certain players. How do I do this?
Goztow Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Iirc there is an ignore function on wol, if u use this
StJohn Gumby Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Sorry, thought the title said 'Ignoring cretin players'. In which case an !allow function might be better. Gumby 1
Goztow Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Go to the game list. Hover to the left and click "buddies". Hover to the left and click "ignore list".
Mikey Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I wish there was an option for this outside of WOL but unfortunately there isn't afaik.
Nudle Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 So it can't be done without WOL? Shoot.
D4rX Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 You have to slam with your pans harder, Nudle.
masscarriers Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 You know, if a player is really bothering you just ask a mod. Sometimes you may think something is annoying to just you but is in fact to many others. I know that you probably didn't ask that in the first place if the matter was mod-enforceable but hey you never know.
Nudle Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 OK I shall try that, that will probably be just as useful as telling mods people are AFK... 2
appshot Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 yeah i need to chat mute Nudle, pls halp Kappa
Feda Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 You cannot expect mods to kick soneone that's supposely afk as soon as a player tells them to. We must pm the afk guy 2-3 times to ensure he really is (for when they are on the other team and we cant see for example). Why? Because all the time we listened to others without checking we got rekt as the respective person rejoined in a sec complaining why he got kicked.
Nudle Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 OF course you can.If it seems to a mod that you are AFK, you cannot whine that you are AFK. It is a qkick for goodness sake.
masscarriers Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Like viss88 and mcsvenson that you both qkicked in less than 2 minutes while both were actually playing just now?Edit: and made one of them rq just after because base was now unminned by the way
Feda Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 They get mad + maybe they have expensive/important weapons, or yea, mines
Volcom Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 No mods can't just kick for afk without waiting and messaging them. That is against our policy.
Nudle Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Also, viss told me he was chatting, so he clearly wasn't playing
shaitan Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 If you ever want to be !atm'd again, I'd suggest losing the attitude. It can, and will, effect any moderator application submitted in the future. This is what a moderator does, they enforce the rules we put forth. If you were an actual temporary moderator, you would have already been given a set of those rules we abide by.
Nudle Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 I didn't start anything. Also, I did pm him, so what exactly went wrong there?
masscarriers Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Hum sorry if my message seemed like an attack by really it wasn't, I have no way of knowing if you PMed them before qkicking or not and I'm not judging you on whether you followed the protocol.I was just poking fun at the fact that within 10 minutes of being ATM you qkicked 2 guys for AFK (both who weren't afk ) merely minutes after posting that message up there about kicking afks.
Delusional Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Also, players are allowed to chat, as long as they don't just sit there chatting whole game. After all ren has a team & all chat for something, and besides, rushes, ideas or w.e need to be talked and discussed, so a little chat won't kill anybody.

I just find the afk moderation very bad in Rencorner. So yes, when I get to do it i might be more relentless. However, for example mcsvenson went back into the same corner as gunner after he was qkicked. Like, come on, just play. Maybe they should get kicked for TH then? I don't know
