OSTKmiata kicking ppl 4 moving perfectly aligned vehicles

I was on the rencorner marathon server today 9-24-15 at about 1:00 and an OSTDKD4rKz kept purchasing the limit of vehicles (all arties) and lining them up on each side of the runway. ppl were asking them to stop. I moved two of them closer to the front when OSTK told me they were going to kick me and then did so. I came back in and asked who the actual moderator was and why I had been kicked.  This person went on using up the limit and lining them up perfectly (like OCD) on each side of the runway and threatening and then kicking those who moved them even a little out of line.  I asked them why and told them we would like to actually be able to play the game and have them in the fight with us. Many people were annoyed and left the server, maybe after being kicked.

 

I (and others) would be greatful if you could check in on them once in while, as the very least.  This felt like a total noob was given the power to kick and was having fun messing up the game.  Either that or they were having an OCD breakdown. When one player moved a vehicle just a little OSTKD4rKz ran back to it and lined it up perfectly again.  

 

Why is this person allowed to moderate?

What should happen if some players want to just play not mass?

 

Is it fair to kick them for GTA or TH?

Now there is only the one way to mass and that is buying tanks galore. We're going to be seeing alot of this without shells in the mix. We did have to moderate the mass shelling before, but that was towards people team-hamper-wrecking them.

Thanks so much for being cool and checking into it.  I was told by OSTKD4rKz, " I will kick you." and did not even see anoter OSTK player listed.  It also looked like his/her full name when the Host said who the in game moderator was.  I could be wrong.  Could this person have had the moderator friend kick me, having not even been in the same game?  Also, after I came back in, the player told me, "I only kicked u, I didn't ban u." taking responcibility for what had happened.

 

I have been around for a long while and usually play on the new map server at night patially because I have seen way too much insulting and arguing on rencorner.  I am very familiar with massing.  This was different.  No vehicles were partially destroyed first, so the limit was reached.  All I did was move them out of the line.  

 

You should be able to see by the logs that I was speaking respectfully, but asking "Why?"  I moved 2 away from the airfield and two teamates got in them. I was then threateded by said player when I got in the 3rd arty, that I would be kicked.  I ignored them thinking this is certrainly a noob trying to fake me out.  Why would a moderator be lining them up and not letting people sit in them and shoot at the enemy right outside our base.  Then there were a couple others that jumped in and started moving the vehicles out of line, like ssome what would be just a few feet, and OSTKD4rKz jumped in them immediately to put them back into a perfect line.  In the logs you should be able to see me referring to this when asking, "why?"

 

I don't know that i think anyone should get kicked for goofing around.  I guess that would be the modrator's choice if he/she fle it was really disrupting the game.  But, in this case, I got kicked BY the person who was goofing around,or just did not know how to mass properly without affecting the limit...and damn even so, all I did was move them out of line to defend the base with them.  

 

Thanks again for looking into this.  If someone else booted me then they should be talked to about what actually warrants booting someone.. and doing it because a buddy wanted to play around and line up vehicles like soldiers on eachside of the tarmack.  

 

Do moderators have to have a certain amout of play time recorded before they can have access to these conrtrols?  Maybe this would help.

Maybe I got the OSTKD player name wrong?  Mayb eit was the one that booted me.  I went back in to write the name down, so it could have been a different 1 taht was on th elist a few minuts later.  I did ask...r us the same OSTK that was inhere ealier and they said yes..  You should be able to see by the logs though, who was threatening to kick me, etc. and I only remember there being one in at that time with this prefix on their name.

Didn't mean to open 2 threads on this.  I couldn't see the first one.  They are all sayingthey did it now and that I had mods.  Not ture and has nver been.  I will just go to a different server if the OSTK group seem to ban together to harass.  I have seen a couple of them do it before, but I cannot say which ones.  They give the others a bad name though.

You bought 46 arties within 30 mins. I don't see any logs of you saying lets mass arties. You just kept buying arty after arty. And it looks like you had a little help from d4rkz donating you money so you could keep buying arties.

 

I'm not surprised that Zephryn got annoyed. Nod was basically down 2 players the whole time and to me that looks like you were team hampering.
