Why is there no updating to the rencorner renegade server map wise?

It does, not as often as you guys here want. What forum players and ingame players want aren't always the same thing.

Maybe start a poll to add 1 or 2 new maps or replace some maps like Sand_rxd

There is little use to this topic in the way it was formulated. If you have a specific idea about the maps you want to add, then post about it, maybe make a poll about it and argument why it is a good map.  Or make a topic in which you ask the other players which maps they'd like to add. I for one would like to see the map Meadow added, there's a link in another topic in this forum already. It is a decent Base defense map, not too big, nice looking and fairly balanced as was proven in our internal clanwars a few years ago.

TBH - the current rotation becomes a bit boring right now. In my opinion a rotation got to be changend every 3 or 4 months slightly. Just minor changes like removing/adding or changing 1 or 2 maps. So players get the feeling that the responisible staff is still alive and cares. Some will bitch around about the changes but thats still better than this silence of death.

You do know I'm 'here' every day, and Manny is as well @ responsible staff. Our Renegade isn't like Killing Floor where we can make a bunch of changes all of the time. 

We'll go over the rotation some time soon, but zero promises...we go by what the majority of the players want.

I didnt bitch about the current rotation cause its bad or something. I just said that a rotation should change regularly because every rotation like everything on this planet becomes boring after a while (my opinion). Furthermore i didnt say that the staff is inactive or does not care about the server. But - players will realize if u do some changes or updates that u are active and doing bests efforts keeping the community (Ren) and the server alive and populated.

Can't you just rehash brenbot when you added it in the rotation? Tbh I think that the players will rejoin if you reboot just after a map ends.

I don't think you get it, the server has to be offline for it to work. Using packageeditor never works when it is running.

It's not that easy finding a good time when I'm here + it being empty. I am not staying up til 1-8am to do it. Hell, I'm still waiting for a good time to restart that box for some updates...a month later.

ok I have an idear for a map try recreating maps like the mission maps for example M05 is my second favourite M09 is my first  add those sort of maps and do a lot of editing

and whatever happened to Uphill you have Uphill RxD but not Uphill mind letting me know why that's the way it is

Did not read thread but the maps now are good, almost perfect. But at the same time, I don't know how I feel about adding a map or two. Might not be the worst idea, so I'm neutral. Maybe swapping one of the maps with a snow texture or something. I'm in Southern California, no snow, so it could be a cool way to mix things up without changing maps.

*EDIT* but then again, taste in maps is very subjective. I don't think one person suggesting one thing or another, like maps with snow texture (as I suggested), would be enough reason to change maps. E.g., some people may live around snow and hate that idea. I figure if you guys get enough suggestions for one map or another and there is enough of a consensus, it wouldn't be the worst idea.

the reason maps can be both mara and aow is that everyone thinks differently about how to play those maps. also one will be the original and the other is our RXD version.

 

also those humv's are way OP. especially on that 1 map winter nights or something i think jelly had a while back
