CnC Meadows Sucks!

I just played it a couple mins ago, I was on Nod and our Obelisk didn't do Jack to take out anything. That maps sucks. It needs redone. The Obelisk Needs Fixed and turned 360 degrees. Fix the map. GDI just strolled right in and finished it the game.

What will turning the ob 360 degrees do?  surely you meant something besides full circle.  I like that map, you have to get in the field to keep gdi out!

Do you mean the oby is bugged? 

Do you mean meadow? AFAIK we don't have meadows.

Yeah C&C_Meadow.mix was played earlier today on the server, although it's not in the regular rotation.

To hell with those, we're getting the mammy from APB, the mammy from MPF(strike that last, those ones suck balls), and the micro-mammy from Renz0r(exodus gaming guys).

If you told 99% of the ren players left playing that you drove a mammy in the tuns they would never believe you.. well link them to here lol

I just played it for the first time tonight. If we're taking a vote, then I vote against it. I found that it effectively forces you to camp. Difficult to get vehicles out, and it feels too large to play with inf. Granted, it was a small match that I played (about 8 players) but it just felt like nothing happened for almost an hour.

You can say the same about every other Renegade Map.

Well I was hiding today under the waterfall. Got stuck. Unstucked, went further down the waterfall, ended up in the stream.. No way out but remotes.. :(

 

I liked it though!

I see your point, but I think it's amplified on this map. I'd be interested to see how the dynamic changes when the server is more full.

I'd like it out of rotation at least until the GDI WF is fixed.  Purchased vehicles and harvs refusing to leave the bay puts GDI at a distinct disadvantage.  Plus the distance from the right side (GDI perspective) to the Nod Ob is ridiculous, if the two bases switched it would make more sense given the Ob's anti-vehicle capabilities.

Strip does a similar thing whereby vehicles are dropped off and just circle on the landing pad. We lost the harv a few times that way...I imagine there's been a few lost vehicles as well.
