Rencorner Renegade servers no showing?

Up until yesterday, there were multiple RenCorner servers up for Renegade, but now today (March 21, 2016) I don't see any RenCorner servers up. The servers have been finicky recently but now they are completely gone. I couldn't find any information here on the forum. It is 7:15PM  (March 21, 2016). Any explanation or information on why? I look forward to hearing back, thank you.

Download Renlist if you don't already have it. Its not listed on Xwis atm, but you can join the server on GSA tab. 

 

Otherwise use direct connect:  192.99.44.120:5000

Its there now, I didn't try joining but I'm sure it works now because people are in. I don't know why renlist didn't work for me but it showed but I couldn't join. As for IP joining, I don't know how. If there was an option to join by IP, I didn't see it.

There are currently 2 IPs available for our Renegade servers.

(1st) 192.169.92.22:5000

2nd server has been taken offline, refer to 1st and 3rd servers.

(3rd) 192.99.44.120:5000

Where do I type the IP to play? I don't see an option as there is for Counter-Strike. Thanks.

Any idea when it will show up back in the regular renegade menu? Whoever is attacking the server must be banned or muted. They obviously like Renegade or else they wouldn't waste their time attacking, but they probably can't play due to ban or mute. How many people does that narrow it down to? If you find out who it is, you could either reach out to them or threaten them with criminal prosecution. How many people are currently banned or muted?

Unfortunately it's not as simple as banning someone. They can still continue to wreak havoc (no pun intended) from behind the scenes even if they are banned.

Yeah, but if you know who it is, you can either reach out to them and see what they want or threaten them with criminal prosecution. I assume it's a crime what they are doing but they probably have a motive too. If they aren't hacking or otherwise a nuisance, maybe you can make an amicable agreement with them. While it isn't the best to give in to such tactics, it might be the only option. Alternatively, if this isn't a feasible option and they are in any western nation, you can threaten them with criminal prosecution and call their local police station so they can be investigated/prosecuted for cyber crimes. I know in the suburb I live, police would take this very serious because they don't really have anything else to investigate in our low-crime suburb.

 

**EDIT** I wouldn't mention that the are doing whatever its called, DDos attacking, on a gaming server. Just say that they are attacking a server; a web server if it also hosts a website. I don't think any police department would care if they knew it was strictly a gaming server so don't mention that. I think every police department has a cyber crimes division now days.

That's why I asked if anyone in particular was banned or muted around the time the attacks started. If there aren't that many, you should be able to narrow it down a bit.

It's on a bigger level than just us. They are attacking every Renegade server.

Don't be sorry, I just didn't know what "everything" meant; e.g. globally (world affairs) or within the Rencorner realm. The former didn't make sense in the context of this thread while the latter wouldn't make sense to me because I only play Renegade. I was left thinking to hard so I just let you know I was confused and you resolved it. So actually, you should be sorry for making me think too hard. Lol.
