Just a small post to say I'm safe here in Brussels, though everyone's quite shocked by the recent events. My thoughts go out to my fellow Belgian citizens who perished today. May we mourn today and strike back tomorrow.

I was in Brussels a few months ago. Incredibly beautiful place. Difficult to think about it like this. Hope it all settles down very soon.

I'm glad to hear you're safe, but don't count on your government to do something against it, they will bite their lips and try to get used to the fact the muslims will react to whatever they think the government is doing something that offense them.
