Every game there will be at least 2 arties whoring tuns for the entire game making GDI unable to do anything in there because the splash damage is absurd. If one arty shoots at the 1st level wall, GDI infantry even near the WF will take damage(seriously?). Shooting the 2nd floor will damage infantry on all 3 floors. I know it's the same on all maps but this one is a special case since you can take damage even near WF(and all the way to the other side of the wall). Arties can shoot through the tunnels near the GDI entrance to the tunnels and on the 2nd floor to damage everyone inside. If it's not gonna be removed at least reduce the splash to make it somewhat weeker and allow GDI infantry to at least stay near the wall without taking damage. Join a game on Snow and !ftc to GDI and try to stay near the WF. Then go near the wall and you'll see how easily you lose ~30-40 HP from one shot. I went as an engi to the left entrance on GDI, took the splash damage(from OUTSIDE the tunnel) that reduced my armor to ~30 and when I reached the stairs my health dropped to 1 and after that I died. It's absurd.

Yesterday I killed you with the arty, but as gdi I always get an mrls and I assure you they're way more deadlier on snow tunnels than arties. Because arties do splash damage but have 1 shot per clip. So unless you're lucky and another arty joins the party or some nod infantry happen to be near, you won't get the kill. On the other side, with an mrls, shoot all your missiles at one of the four upper tunnel holes. You might not get a lot of splash damage, but man, if someone happens to be there it's an instakill, believe me. Now on another point, the map is fine, just that it's the whole opposite of Sand. Sand is all infantry, while snow is all tanks and sbhs, just because tunnels are a no go. And arties/mrls aren't the problem. Problem is, teams are gonna mine tunnels, then bring their snipers on top of them, and built as they are + with all mined, good luck trying to kill the snipers while all your team dies to snipers that you can't even see. So I, for once, agree that in that particular map ren is a tank game, and that if you're a sniper, you have to deal with the splash damage from arties and the instakills from mrls. Because if not, it's just absurd how easy it is to kill all the enemy infantry running from buulding to building. Let's be honest, we've all sniped in snow and we know how easy it is when no arties/mrls/meds shoot tuns. So I'm fine with the map as it is.

You will get a kill mostly if the target is where you're shooting but nothing is gonna happen if you're on the Nod side of tuns. While MLRs do shoot several missiles, the arties will constantly whore the tunnels and you will take damage every time a shell explodes. I understand it's a tank map(although only like 3 tanks can shoot down the underpass) but some people will always use infantry(they don't have to be snipers at all) And another thing, splash from MLRs won't damage you in your own base the way arties do.

Easily done with an APC or Hummer. You'd need someone on the team prepared to do it though, so it would probably only work in a commwar not a pub. Gumby
