how do you create a srver?

I'm wanting to know how do you create a server on renegade since you can not do it through the actual game because of gamespy and westwood don't exist anymore. can anyone give me a quick run down? i want to create a temp server for now since there is nothing happening atm.  i just wan to play some Renegade!!!!!

Hey rabidsnypr,

I really don't know how to create a own server, but sure the staff of Rencorner surely is able to explain it.
But for playing C&C Renegade online you can use the servers which still exist, f.e. the Rencorner Marathon server.

WOL doesn't exist anymore, now you should use: http://xwis.net

Furthermore you should install Renegade and additionally:
- Patch(es)
- (Renguard + updates)
- Corepatch1
- Corepatch2
- newest Scripts.dll
 

After this procedure you will find actual servers in your in-game menu.

I don't like that much because they take like 6 months to get back to you on the forums. I am a member on there but i have been on in months or maybe a year. that's how long it's been. And I'm always on the server as abrcadet. If i start when the map starts. 'm top 5 on the map(s) usually. And when are the servers gonna be back up?

it sucks. i cant figure out how to set up the preferred server. I cant get that window up. it would be nice if someone made a tutorial on how to make a server that's UP TO DATE. And i know htere would be more servers up then.
