Keyboard is acting strange in Renegade

I am not computer savy guy just an old time Ren player. My keyboard keys are not reacting properly, they cause me to stop and freeze when I choose two keys. I have changed control settings and I have changed keyboards with no luck.

Any idea's ?

Which keys? You don't happen to use the numpad for moving?

Does it happen when you are in a vehicle as well?

Yup I do use the number keys and that does seem to be the problem, I did remove all the different key set ups and the default does work but being an old fart that is set in his ways I find it hard to change. Is there anyway I can get back to using the num keys ? and I didn't manage to get to a vehicle so I wouldn't know if they worked or not.

you need to delete all lines starting with Taunt#= (i.e Taunt1=Keypad_1_Key, Taunt2=Keypad_2_Key etc) from the keys.cfg file.

Keys.cfg is located in My Documents/Renegade/Client folder for scripts 4+ users and Westwood/Renegade/Data for people without scripts 4.

Thanks guys I found the client folder and deleted all the taunt commands but nobody is on Ren at the moment to try it out but I will try later.
