I guess I was muted by a non-USA based mod or something because I was muted for saying "where my niggas at?" I never once EVER said N***er. Whomever muted be doesn't appear know the distinction and so I'd like to be unmuted and for the distinction to be explained to whomever muted me. Some say even n***er is not racist and it is in the way the word is used, but I personally refrain from user n***er altogether. I never use it. Nigga, however, in no way shape or form is racist. You could even tell someone: "hey, you stupid n***a" and it just doesn't have repugnant racist sound that "n***er" has. Nigga is just not racist. In any event, I don't mess around with fine lines and personally only used the term nigga as a synonym for homie(s). (a) I voted Obama, I am the furthest thing from racist. (b) Nigga is NOT racist. N***er and nigga are COMPLETELY different. Anyone in the USA could tell you this, so I assume whoever muted me is not US-based.

Given what I said in no way could be construed as racist or offensive "where my niggas at," I am asking that I be unmuted. I welcome quoting exactly what I said here for proof that I did not make any racist remark, I just said "where my niggas at." I never used n***er. I look forward to hearing back and being unmuted as soon as possible, thank you and take care.

I want to preface what I have to say with an apology; I am sorry for any misunderstanding.

There is absolutely nothing racist about niggas, it is literally synonymous with homie. The one ending in ER is racist. Sup my nigga and similar phrases are perfectly PC (politically correct) for anyone to say. For the record, I always censored n***ger myself so when you are quoting me saying "i said nigga not n***ger" that is literally what I wrote (i.e., it isn't just being censored for this thread, that word has just plain flat out never been uttered by me). I had the decency to always make sure I NEVER used the racist term ending in ER but only the phrase "nigga," synonymous with homie.

But it's not a big deal, I don't care about using nigga so much that I want to be muted for using it. I will not use it again, period. I tried to clear up the misunderstanding in the game and here, but honestly, I am willing to delete nigga from my vocabulary on RenCorner. Is it racist? Absolutely not. Would any black person be offended by the term nigga? None that I know. I didn't use that nastey word ending in ER, I said nigga. But if the rule here says not to use nigga, I will just accept it. I'm in no way conceding it is racist; I'm for affirmative action (giving preferential treatment to african americans in the academic admissions process and the work place due to years of inequality), I have donated to the NAACP, I support the causes of the NAACP, and some of my best friends are black. I am the furthest thing from a racist and I support #blacklivesmatter.

Nevertheless, I realize not to use nigga on RenCorner. It's not racist but it is verboten here for one arbitrary reason or another, so I will obey this. Each time I was told not to say nigga in the past, when I explained the difference between nigga and n***er, the issue was dropped. This time it wasn't, and instead I was muted. Please realize I thought there was a misunderstanding (and still think there is one) but that if I knew I was walking on thin ice with a term that, at least around these parts, is harmless, I wouldn't have used it. I will never use the phrase again. Please unmute me and I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

I've only been muted for saying kike, a long time ago, that's the only other thing I've been muted for. Jews a religion not race, but w/e, I knocked that off. Name one thing I've said besides kike, and nigga doesn't count (n***er would). Really, I realized kike was verboten and I hadn't said it since. Now I realize that, here at least, nigga is akin to n***er, as in the extremely nasty and derogatory term used towards blacks (a disgusting term), not the term synonymous to homie. 10-4. Whether it's in real life or in a video game, it doesn't matter what you think is right. What's "right" are the laws and rules. Just because you think it's okay to murder innocent people doesn't mean you're not going to go to jail. The law says you can't murder innocent people. So in the case of RenCorner, although you may think "niggas" is an appropriate term, the rules state otherwise. So instead of pleading your case for what is or isn't acceptable in your eyes, just abide by the rules governing the server. There are rules for a reason.

Long story short, I'm wrong, you're right. If you say it's racist, I won't do it again. I don't hack and offending the server rules is not a habitual thing for me. If I ever offend the rules, I'm caught, I'm spanked, and I end up here with rear redder than an orangutan with chlamydia. Once every 3 months, I am here, no ones happy about it, especially me. I feel violated and abused, but this is pretty much the only Renegade server (and that's on a good day, right now I was just playing with 1 other guy, and I couldn't talk so I bailed). I won't let it happen again. I honestly never do it on purpose and I tried very hard to not offend server rules, I really do. Sorry again, my bad. The K word was obviously inappropriate and I stopped, the N-word ending in "a" (not "er") was what I thought more of an endearing term and, you have to admit, more a "gray area," but I will put the kibosh on that too. It sounds close the the "er" word, which is a very nasty disgusting and repugnant word, and I suppose regionally, certain areas/regions group them together for lack of knowing better, but I don't consider myself a Ph.D. in variations of the n-word and I will gladly stop. If the powers that be say it is racist, it is racist, but I can honestly say no racism was intended in this particular case (or ever when it comes to the black or brown persuasion). Like I said, I have donated to the NAACP, I am on their mailing list, I'm for affirmative action, I voted for Obama, some of my best friends and greatest emotional growth as an adult can be attributed to a Haitian buddy of mine, I have plenty of black friends (not just saying that, I have another black buddy, a neighbor, whenever we set up hookah and have girls over, I horse around with him and tell him to handle the coal since I don't want to wash my hands after and he's already black; you have to know someone pretty well to be able to fuck with them like that - that wouldn't fly if there was any doubt to my appreciation of diversity and racial sensitivity, particularly to those of color), I'm all about #blacklivesmatter, watching some of those videos legitimately brings tears to my eyes, and I would never mean to demean a group that has been disenfranchised and mistreated as much so as black and brown individuals. I know first hand the damage racism and racial profiling causes; me and my Haitian buddy were like brothers - for 3 years he was closer to me than my own brother, and I don't love anyone as much as my own brother, but it's a fact. I saw what racial profiling looked like, and it's not pretty AT ALL. I've called out cops on in when we once got pulled over and the lady officer asked if anyone in the car was on parole or probation; I literally told her, you wouldn't have asked that if it was just me in the car, knock that s*** off. I never meant anything racist towards anyone when I said " All my niggas representin'," in context and together with what I've explained herein, I think that is quite clear. In the interest fairness, I respectfully requesting being unmuted with the agreement that I will never use any words that enter any gray area. Sorry again and it won't happen anymore. P.S.: respectfully, please approve this message, as I feel I have been falsely cast in an inaccurate light and I've been portrayed as racially insensitive towards people of color, when this is furthest from the case. I have no idea how, but somehow, "All my niggas representin'," has been blown into me being some sort of red neck, when I am in fact probably the most progressive individual in this thread, and I mean that with utmost respect. I really appreciate it and I would really appreciate being unmuted. Thank you.
