Faster vehicle production?

How about making AIR/WF produce vehicles faster?

pro:

+peoples might buy more tanks

+faster big rushes

+hardcore battles

+one more reason to buy tanks :P

+one single dude can mass vehicles much faster 

 

contra:

-enemy can encounter huge rushes easyer if they see opposite team is massing (but actually this applys for standard vehicle production aswell)

 

now i want to see other opinions.

Yeah, that will need a modified objects.ddb file for probably each map. I dont know if TT has already coded a hook for that, i doubt that.

I don't think we should really be altering the way the game is played, especially like 14 years after its release. Something like this goes beyond crates and pimp guns, etc. Something like this changes the entire way the game is played.

the rotation for servers is saved in tt.cfg, and as far as I know, you would have to add a line of code {ServerPresetsFile = "objects.whateverextention";} for every map in the game definitions.

Also, If you'd want to organise the rush, the amount of time spent of buying vehicles would look like nothing compared to the amount of time spent on getting players to use them in your average public game :P

Also, why make such a risky change to the game for relatively little? Don't fix what isn't broken.

It's not an issue that must be fixed, it's just the way airstrip works.

On some badly designed maps the vehicle path doesn't drive vechs away from the strip fast enough for it to get blown, but then the problem is pathways and not the system itself.
