The other maps I just need time to get use to.

It is not the maps I play for. It is the team work and love of this game.

Cairo: Remove  - I like that map, but obviously it kills the server.  (20v20 would be nice there for sure)
Mines: Remove  (Damnit, Obelisk!)
MetroTS: Keep it   (but tbh Metropolis would be the better one)

Cairo needs to leave. Both Metro and Mines could greatly benefit from disabled base defences, the Obelisk is just ridicilous on both of those maps. I voted for stay on those two.

 

Mines is very similar to Hourglass in this respect. Both maps are hard to win in public games nowadays (with the hillcamping rule applied, that is). Long-range arties are again pretty kickass, but the close-quarters design of the map actually prevents it from being OP, and prevent Stanks from rushing too easily aswell.

The fact that it's hard to win casually makes many people want to skip it, as nowadays many people play Renegade to chill. For this, I am willing to accept a possible removal of Mines. But I feel like disabling base defences should be good enough of a solution on it's own.

 

Besides that, I appreciate the gesture of the admin and mod team to be willing to try out new maps in the rotation! Big thumbs up on that one!

Yea just remove cairo, its crashing the server on gameover anyways lol Metro looks good, but its really boring when GDI camps the obi. Would like to see some typical UNrules maps.

I'd vote to keep pretty much any map that breaks up the same old boring rotation that I, and pretty much all of you, have been playing for years and years.

Doesn't it just make sense to play some different maps every once in awhile?!

However, I do feel like there are wiser 'unplayed' maps that you could have chosen rather than Cairo.
