Nickname Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) life sucks to absolutely high degree or what? before ren (and sometimes even now) i have wasted thousand of hours by playing half-life online. is there some substitute for shooters so instead of wasting precious hours of your own life u can actually do something useful? fast paced action? can u list useful examples ? its like informational adrenaline rush 4 yr brain? in ren i like cooperative thing and funny moments. i dont care about victory, just fun with sbh nude or sbh stealing veh. or "madness" moments. apart from funny things (including in chat), tactics, strategy WHAT THE FWORD DO U LIKE IN ONLINE SHOOTERS, REN particularly? thers no content, all the same. u can change skin or other view things, or binds, but process stays the same. aim shoot and move to dodge others scope. post yr reply, adeqate sir. Manuel857 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Why waste your time posting in a gaming community?
Nickname Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) exactly. the main question of this topic is: is there a way to replace gaming activity with other(and ofcourse having same things you play games for), really usefull ? (which improves your life. except physical or psycho health) if you havent already wasted 1000+ hours in virtual worlds which have no connection to "real" world, then you cannot consider gaming as kind of addiction or unnecessary weak spot (remove game and you cant get relaxation, joy or whatever you playing for). Guest rackz Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Im working as you see on my avatar. After that i need a chilled game like ren.
Guest rackz Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 what do you do in reallife? your topic sounds like a bad trip on pills or shrooms. get down and post again.
Goztow Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I've wasted dozens of weeks in Ren, not dozens of hours. But it can't beat a weekend with friends.
u00fzTar Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I hold it with Gozy. But if you feel isolated in that way, - I noticed a post from you (Introductions I guess) where u told us that u make Dubstep. So I recommend you to look for Dubstep events, or whatever music you like. You dont need friends, to get start up with it. Just enjoy the music with the event. It sounds simple, but doing some Party will change your "brain settings" to a positive one. (and show u new ways) But I'm 26 and from Berlin. Maybe its not comparable with your situation? But this was how it worked for me in "difficult situations"
Nudle Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I can't !madboomhs when I finish a page of a book.
Learonys Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) What would you consider "not wasting time"? Inventing a medicine that cures all diseases in the world? As long as you pay your taxes, be nice to your parents, and all the other stuff, what's wrong with putting any spare time into doing an activity that you like? It's just entertainment. Do you consider drawing art not wasting time? Digitially, it's just pixels and if you actually paint, it's just dried out colourant on a sheet of silk(?) or paper. There's a deeper meaning to everything in the world. This doesn't mean that we need to look for every time to feel useful though, sometimes it's just fun to mindlessly do what you enjoy doing, without worrying about why you like doing it. ROZPIERDALATOR Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Quote why do you waste dozens of hours by playing online shooters? because I like wasting my life. wasted I wasted ~170 days in last 2 years by playing renegade 1

For instance I brew beer, it's relaxing and I save a ton of money.

Mikey Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 When I was younger and first started playing ren I was addicted to the game for sure, there would be times when I would be in on my computer from when I woke up until I went to sleep, which would sometimes be 5-6am in the morning. It was pretty bad! I just found the game so addictive and the whole gaming 'atmosphere' at the time was so different, this game is not what it used to be but times move on, would I do it all over again ? No. May just be me but I find myself growing out of video games nowadays, I just don't have the time nor the interest to play much anymore - I don't wanna adult anymore!

Yea you could get into things that make you money like trading stocks or buying options. Theres nothing like taking the same passion for gaming and fashioning it into something that brings success in the real world. Theres always the gym as well but you did say anything besides the physical. I think most gamers would enjoy the stock market because its a game. except theres real money to be made. 1
ehh Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 I remeber when i played jelly mara under for 7 hours, played all of it :> 1
ice187dna Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Are you meaning: Quote Gamification is the concept of applying game mechanics and game design techniques to engage and motivate people to achieve their goals. Gamification taps into the basic desires and needs of the users impulses which revolve around the idea of Status and Achievement. Some use shooters to gain hand-eye co-ordination skills or improve on them, even reaction times. Think of the Army using shooter games for survival/combat purposes. Airlines use flight simulators to create real life scenarios like bad weather or engine failure to deal with. Driving simulators for people learning to drive and dealing with the hazards. Minecraft for creativity thus leading to future designers for the real world etc. Playing games isn't just for fun, it can be educational. People play to escape real life, be creative, develop skills....even people with disabilities you games to help them in many ways. Games are getting more physical like the Virtual Reality where you are now stood up moving around or even on special treadmills to simulate the body. 1
Guest rackz Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Yea terrorits play the new world order reallife simulator!
