RageQuit..

Hello everyone, im wondering if Adding !rageq and !rq to RCBOT is a good idea, i would like everyone's opinions and would like everybody to vote.

This is an example of what it would do..

I don't think it's a good idea because it'd get abused more than being any use to anyone in-game, if someone did actually rq because they're annoyed they would just leave the game with no intention of using this command.

Also this idea would spam the hell out of the !kicklog command on irc (which only shows the last 10 kicks) and important kicks may not be noticed.

i agree with the Kick logs.. However, the spam is not a problem.. it can be disabled with a simple !disablerq and !enablerq which is already bounded to the script.

I tend to agree with Sarah. if you are pissed off, you will leave and not spend the extra 2 seconds to type a command. What is your point for the command? to keep track of how many times a player rq?

Just make it do fds kick rather than brenbot kick, then there's no spamming in the kicklog

You could also make a blacklist, so players who spam it don't have access to it

If somebody is going to RQ the last thing they will do is announce it to the players is it not?

Personally I don't see a legitimate reason for it other than a bit of fun as some may see it

He is proposing that a player that is upset over how the game i going, use this command to kick himself. Not for a mod to do it.

Jesus christ it would be a sense of humour of a command.. if someone was to be qkicked for raging 'it would be funny' the only reason why im proposing this to us.. is because i see people type !rq about hmm 10 times each day.. lol, atleast make it for use.

here's my two cents...if your like me and played the game for years ...doing something funny just makes the game play and community that much more exciting lol...so there are times and I would be willing to, where people would type RQQQQQQQ after being killed and leave game for a laugh lol....In Addition though!, I think having something automatic would be nice to. Such thing that is currently in sh*t noobstories where if you leave with a few seconds of dying, then you get a message saying you just ragequit and would count towards your ragequit total score so next time you join game it shows how many times you RQ'd. THanks

whats the differance between using this command and the quit button when you press ESC??

all this will do IMO is tell others that your pissed of with the game, and not everyone pays that much attention anymore lol
