Wait banned for what?

Hello guys...

Today I joined the server after 2 months, I just wanted to have a good time playin renegade a bit... We were playing MetroTs and some of your mods T-banned me..

I am sorry, but I haven't see more retarded mod than [Dragon]Apple18345812341823471..

The reason he banned me is that i Used PIC + VEH? ROFLMAO it's something that i bought with my own credits and I bought this at the purchase terminal..and it's my right to use it..... no !pic command was used....

HE said that i have been warned? not a single warnin.. check the logs...

With all the respect to rencorner..I'm sayin that you should do something about him.. He did everything wrong as a mod.. as a mod you have some responsibilities.. The right proccess that he should have executed is here:...

1. Warn a player what is he doing wrong

2. Explain that rule he's breaking

3. warn him again

4. Do a !QKick or !Kill not a !kick (temp ban)

5. If a player still ignores.. do a !kick yes

I didn't reach even the first line lol

Come on rencorner.. It's 2017 and you have mods actin like 14?

 

This is not a request to unban me..not at all.. It's just a "warning" that you should think twice before you give a mod status to someone.. I've been a full moderator in Baddog and Atomix..And I know how the things should work...

Like I said, I don't have anything against the rules and against the server, the only thing that bothers me, are some amature moderators who abuse their powers.. I really hope that you do something anout apple pie..

He jumped out of his tank to use pic/railgun to shoot at enemies then pop back in, which shai said it's not allowed anymore.

Although that doesn't mean you gotta be banned for it lol. Some mods here are complete idiots.

Pic/rail +vech meaning you get out for a sec and shoot with pic/rail and get back in and shoot with tank and the pic/rail auto reloads. We have that against the rules for the last month I think. It's too overpowered (tho I didn't really mind).

apples shouldn't of jumped the gun that fast and 24 hour ban you since this is a new rule and some people haven't been around for a while like you for example. Warn couple times explaining about the new rule, etc should be the right approach.

apples is a half moderator after all meaning he's still learning. Bashing him doesn't solve anything.

I'd like to hear the other side of the story, if Apple oculd reply here? 'Cause if indeed this is how it went, then it's ot the right way. But something tells me that Apple's story may be a bit different. We'll see.

First off, in the logs you literally asked him to ban you. 

Second, some of you mods need to be doing your jobs here as well. There's no reason for Headshoots post to be approved. I would delete it but I don't want to get yelled at by the boss. There's no reason for his post to be here. Technically, I think Shai only wants people who are involved to post so I don't even think I should be doing this.

Third, Tomo, you should have been a bit more respectful to Apple. He's a mod, and if you used to be a mod then you would understand what he was going through. I don't think a 24 hour ban right out of the gate was necessary but don't antagonize and use foul language.

Don't jump the gun Apple(it was only a couple of minutes that went by), remember you have other tools. He can argue until he turns blue(which he might very well turn blue like a smurf), as long as he stops doing it. Idk if he did or didn't based off of the logs.

this is an attack, and as it seems YOU asked to be banned, so if you were in my jurisdiction, I would have done the same, or at the very least something very close to it.

I agree 100% You should state what happened in a respectful manner and request what you want in a professional manner. By attacking a staff member, regardless of their actions is inappropriate and from where I come from, that will only extend your punishment and may even end up in a perma. I cant see nothing wrong in jumping out of tank. remember pic+med costs 1800 so it can destroy med with engi inside for 800$ only. dont forget you need much more skills to do it with success so it should be allowed.

just a thought... to protect people like moderators or actual in-game players too.. i think this bashing crap has gone on long enough... i think it needs to go... i know ive done some in the past... (headshot and recent ehh) but i think im just gonna start ignoring people unless im in-game and they need me to moderate fine... but this bashing.. name calling.. and rude comments are not ok... most of us are adults.. if not were young adults... and us older adults need to remember how we were treated when we had our family or friends do the same exact thing to us when we were younger... so lets just kill it now... put it in the past start fresh with: reminding ourselves where we came from, how we want to be treated vs. how we actually get treated.

we had most of our staff here this summer.. and it was peaceful no one hardly banned anyone... we are not at full strength but we are fully capable of maintaining the same cool all year long by remember were adults... 

 

we dont need anymore rules added... if we continue bashing im sure the higher ups will give us another rule that moderators have to be asses to.... just a reminder to in-game players.... we like playing too... and with that said thats why some of us have other names we join on so that we only have to play instead of listening to everyone say he/she is cheating
