Lunatic44
So, when I 1st started logging into the forums from my home computer, I've had no problems what-so-ever. Then, the other day, I decided to login to the forums from a computer at my work. I was 99% positive I had the correct password, but even after it said it was wrong, I literally tried every other password I've ever used. Finally, I gave up, and posted that I forgot my password and reset it via email request. Now, in order to login, from either work or at home, I need to reset my password, every time. Its kinda annoying. Any help/solutions. Side note, every time I "forget" my password and request a new one, I always set it back up as the old one that I'm 99% positive it originally was. Not sure if that's part of the problem or not.
shaitan
Try another theme? The only other things I could think of to do is either I set it in the admin panel, and send you a new pass, or you pm me the pass and I do it there instead. FYI this forum is a p.o.s and has been since we updated to ipb v4.
rackz
Huh? did you try deleting your browser history + cache files & cookies? Do you have the same problem with your mobile phone? or your keyboard is messed up, a few days ago when i pressed once "L" it did write "LL" (keyboard is fine, my windows10 was fucked up, after reinstalling its fixed) Edited July 21, 2019 by BoinkD

FYI this forum is a p.o.s and has been since we updated to ipb v4. Tried all 4 themes. Still have the same issue. I'm willing for you to reset it if you think that'll help. You can just send me the password via IRC then if you want. 10 hours ago, BoinkD said: Huh? did you try deleting your browser history + cache files & cookies? I don't log in via Mobile, never had. 99.99% positive my keyboard isn't f'ed up. I seriously doubt I've been typing in the wrong password after I reset it 15 times. I mean, there is a chance, but lets be real here.
rackz
What happens if you set "stay logged in"? are you still logged in after rebooting your pc?
Lunatic44
That's how I originally had it set up. I have that icon clicked now, but for whatever reason, I still have to login every time I come to the forums.

rackz
do you have any antivirus PRO version running? because they have website protections and even password protections but i dont know how that system works. or you have a trojan/virus on your pc? do you have a cat? maybe he is secretly changing your password lol did you try using other passwords after resetting them or did you use the same password alltime? maybe someone of your job is using a keylogger, so when you login somewhere he can see what you did type? change your password again from your home computer and dont use your work-pc for a while and see if you still have login problems on your home-pc Edited August 2, 2019 by BoinkD
Lunatic44
This has been solved via Shaitan changing the password manually, and then myself changing it after that. Not sure what the problem was, but I haven't been having problems since then.
