I am having issues getting C&C Renegade running on windows 10...

i am getting the "access denied" Error, When i try to run it as administrator, IT DOES NOTHING! it doesn't open up a process in the task manager, it does not open anything. ☹️

I am having issues. can someone help?

find icon for game both icons are needed to be changed.... selct icon with right click>properties>compatibility> now here youll need to make sure its set to run as administrator... problem solved.. please do this for both icons.. if you use renlist to get in... it may still have the same effect... PLEASE CHANGE YOUR COMPATIBILITY SETTINGS FIRST!!!

This is a pretty strange problem to have if your running as admin...you sure your PCs not got ebola

Its On C:/Westwood/Renegade.... I Did not Alter The Directory... It Works On other Windows PCs, Like Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1. But It Doesn't Seem To Work On Windows 10. It's Really Strange.

lol i have the same issue after installation from original CD, install 1,037 patch, scripts. it should work

Reinstall Renegade

Go here and download TT Scripts https://www.tiberiantechnologies.org/downloads

Install TT Script

Let it install & let it install any other program it asks

Open Renlist

GO to Renlist OPTION > SETTINGS > GENERAL Tab > RENEGADE EXECUTABLE > Select the ... > Select UAC Launcher > OPEN

GSA TAB > Input your Nickname

SAVE

GSA TAB > Select Rencorner > Connect

Yeah, I'd say its quite weird why windows 10 has issues with c&c renagade, windows 10 also seems to have issues with c&c red alert 2, yet windows 8.1 or below has no issues with this stuff, I guess it does not help that Microsoft disables sucuredisk... I know ra2 needs it... although I might try the script idea.
