doesn't matter whether zendofu lied to you anymore; you just proved to your community that you're willing to lie to them. First you said zendofu never glitched c4 and I made the whole thing up. Then you said he stopped when the mods told him to. This is why you got fired from jelly - you were willing to say anything to get the outcome you wanted, even if it undermines the other mods and even if it's a lie. This is why nobody trusted you. I guess you haven't changed.

A variant of it is still possible but you can disarm it at a very weird angle. It's a lot harder to do now and a different exploit from the old one.

I've destroyed a fair few vechs with a ramjet, granted it's mainly humvee's, buggies, mrls & arties. But on the odd occasion I've finished off a stank, lol.

He didn't even touch the bit about zendofu getting kicked for team hampering. Literally telling the opponents what his teammates were doing and where the stanks were. There was just no end of bullshit from that guy, and no end of Joe doing whatever he could to help him get away with it, even if it meant lying to his fellow mods. Of course they got sick of it eventually - banned zend for cheating and fired Joe for dishonesty.

 

See you in another 10 years I guess. Maybe Joe will have learned the value of honesty by then but I see no reason to expect it!

The originally designed Renegade points system was really simple: points for damage was determined by two things - the value of the target (e.g. a med tank was worth 80, a mammoth 150, 10% of the unit cost) and how much damage you were doing to it. But the bug caused erratic points when the vehicle's health was green. e.g. 10pts per shot for a ramjet against a tank even though it was doing negligible damage.

 

The pointsfix removed this bug.

I wrote some code to fix that bug for snipers too.

So you can actually get points/credits for vehicle vs vehicle combat
