Can someone do something about these triggerbotters?

-Chris, plays like a retard on his YouTube videos yet constantly suddenly triple hs ppl in a row (switches over to playing like a retard in his youtube vids and never missing)
-Redpillar, caught using triggerbot by TB test softawre on  this server 3x. Has trouble hitting people walking in a straight line in Renegade, RenX and CSGO on his YouTube video and then suddenly switches over to never missing in-game
-ExEric3, caught by a moderator then unbanned. Has been using triggerbot since at least 2014. Played a game of Field against him 3 months ago where he shot me 64 times without missing once in the tunnel over a period of an hour or so. He did technically miss me because WnxDestroyer pushed me and he automatically hit Destroyer instead.

-AprilWars, been using triggerbot since playing under Coronavirus nick in March. Been playing in between 'okay' and 'good' the last 9 years and now suddenly hs ppl constantly and is even able to put up against Chris. Starts recording himself missing 32 time against me and Geko (which i point out in all chat 30 seconds into his video LOL)
-YKZ of course but he hasnt been playing for a long time now

Might have missed 1-2 people

There's also an ex-moderator who started using triggerbot around early December

You pretty much listed ppl who are better than you - the dreaded Iran's Blacklist. I won't start recording whenever you feel like - just as I don't expect you to stream whenever I feel like. Plus still have vids from 2015 & 2016 if you don't like the 2020 ones. I offered some mods the chance to jump in my PC as I play if they feel that they want to take a closer look bc I respect most of them, they are pretty much keeping the last good Ren server alive; but I have no respect for you.

ever since i started playing renegade X i got accused of hacking since day 1, i always been consistent and a known player in that community. also missing people that walk into a straight line happens to everyone including you THE legend himself Iran, stop accusing people that are better than you it's simple. As for the CSGO videos im not sure what you're talking about because i don't have any. also you're movement is absolutely shit not to mention your no scope aim is awful. the only time you're somewhat useful is from long range using your shitty scope. yet still you think you're the number 1 player and can't accept the fact that there are still plenty of people that are better. as for the anti triggerbot bs you're talking about do you really believe anyone is going to believe someone that even accuses a rock of cheating? I used to stream quite a bit of renegade also renegade X. I will allow the mods to view my desktop from discord if they like and show them that i'm legit! also some screenshots of my current and old renx stats to proof that i always been consistent and pretty good in that game too.

Can the server disable the reticle changing to red to settle this debate? I doubt any actual person relies on the reticle changing when playing this game.

Oh and ban the German please. His skill level has been consistently affected by the release of a new scripts for the past 5 years or so. I wonder who he paid money to this time around. I bet it's one of the two people gloating all the time about their Renegade development efforts.

Ohh, I don't know why he's calling me out though, I'm decent but I'm not like "godtier" like chris, I couldn't do anything when it was just me on GDI vs all the snipers on Nod, plus Iran consistently hs me at gdi short tunnel every single time lol, so should I call him out for that? Not really.

Are we done yet? You're all throwing accusations at one another in here. It's actually kind of funny, because I am just laughing, as I said I would be in the mod topic about this.

I'm not going to lie, we don't really have a good way to do this. What we have isn't great, and would take a lot of moderator/administrator input before a decision is ever made.

^ Pretty much this, all we have are accusations at the moment, there HAS been efforts to provide proof, we're not all sleeping on the job, it's just HARD.

I can understand it though, it can be infuriating playing against people like this...it's not as if the claims are totally out of this world either, 3 of 6(Chris, bibi/redpillar, Eric) of the players in Iran's list, HAVE CONFIRMED found to be cheating in the past(Chris 4 times, FOUR), and specifically, cheats that would improve their sniping ability, so it's no wonder if they play to this caliber, they get accused, they can hardly be surprised.

Chris and bibi are the only players that I find myself aligning to agree that they are cheating(if anyone cares :D).  Another view I have on it, is all the other players mentioned, April, YKZ, ect... do not perform as well as Chris/red, they are a MUCH higher cut above the rest, I find myself having a hard time believing the others mentioned are cheating - I truly think they are just good players.

I can't say much about Eric at the moment, there was an instance around the time he was temporarily banned here, where I did fully think he was cheating though, because it was just such a difference in skill playing against that Eric vs the Eric I was used to, can't say for certain how he has been recently, iv not been around. Personally the way I see it - given conversations I had with Eric's in the past and his distaste for cheaters, it was probably a case of "if you can't beat them join them".

 

 

I for one believe Chris has been cheating the entire time, and he's in WAY too deep to stop - the way I see it, he can't be trusted, not one bit, so he doesn't have a place here, and doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Despite us as moderators normally having to require the burden of proof, I honestly think it should be waived in some scenarios, but its not my decision, if it was, he'd be gone in an instant. Its a rash decision for sure and not one most moderators will agree with, and it has been one that has been looked down upon in the past by the community, pretty much servers in the past we're made a bit of a joke of for doing something so rash, as Shai said, a discussion needs to happen, whether or not that happens here, with the community involved or behind closed doors, is another thing.

What I will say though, is if we DO make the harsh/drastic decision, people like bibi and Chris, these ex-cheaters - surely can fully understand our decision, you've proved you can't be trusted by your past actions.

 

What we do know is there are people still working on this type of cheats to this day, and with the Renegade community being as small as it is at the moment, its not that big of a stretch to look at who the top performers are, and assume they cheating - again, bit rash, but it's realistic, it's not as if we ever get randoms joining who play out of their mind, its always the same couple suspects and names that come up. Again to reiterate, red and Chris both snipe to be a very similar capability, and are performing FAR higher than anyone else on that list.

 

Also bibi posting your RenX stats is the most irrelevant thing in the world, nobody here cares how good you are at other games, not to mention, you could of just been cheating the entire time on there lol, they are some pretty insane stats though...

 

Most people who cheat in games, will do it again, and again, this has NORMALLY ALWAYS been the case with people in the past, im sure a lot of you, have your own long list of people that got caught time and time again, I know Italy does, anyone from the .cc era will have a list of players who got caught over and over, and kept getting second chances, I will say this though, if any of you ARE cheating, all you are doing is hurting what little community is left in this game

This is pretty much what I want to do, either disable it for everyone, so its a level playing field its hard to complain about something that ALL players are subject to

or have it forced upon select players who we assume are cheating, its feature that doesnt exist in most modern FPS games for this reason anyway, its too exploitable, I was reading recently some topics on some cheat forums on the methodology of finding ways to create cheats, based on this.

 

Ultimately @BigWrench will have to be the one to implement this - if its possible at all.

As long as the game lives there will be people creating/using cheats, that's the reality of it.

I'm more than certain people named in that list have been /are cheating, Like Vultima I have not been around lately so can't make any judgement in recent, but cheaters never stop until they're caught.

A lot of us have been round long enough to know when things don't add up, sometimes cheaters are genuinely good players too but just want to be seen as godlike or something hence why I don't fall for the "Heres my youtube video as proof" line.

 

Also lol @ bibi trying to show off renx stats like omg guys please accuse me too im so good.

First of all im not bibixx. 

Also i'm like 100% sure bibixx never got "caught" cheating like some of you claim. she only got banned once in mpf for "suspected cheating" and that's all i know of because i was still allowed to play in every server with the same computer we all used. 

I never cheated once in a game in my life. I have always played fair. and im willing to proof that to the server owners. 

Also please stop spreading bs about anyone, and if you do back it up with proof.

edit: i would say aprilwar is far better than me. same goes for YKZ, and unatrax/evie

the TT guys already discussed a reticle color "fix" wich fixed the last public released triggerbot

also ive heard in ESL games like counter strike, its possible to run hacks and stream, but you cannot see the cheat on the stream.

You're certainly not just some random new person who got good at ren and started playing a year ago, even your IPs are VERY similar to bibixxx, you've played on over 60 nicknames so its hard for me to even pull the information out of the bot...
 

 

Edit: Oh you just mentioned "the same computer we all used"...I see, well you can understand our confusion then...if you all happen to use the same computer/IP, from our perspective, your one person.

Also just to clear things up, me hearing about bibixxx being banned is from word of mouth, I have no recollection of it myself that is true, Chris on the other hand, I DO have recollection, and if the jelly forums we're still up, id link his 3 different unban requests topics...

Just call me on discord and ill show you the task manager first and share everything even minimize at times for you while playing basically show you anything you need to see.

I run away from Chris the second he grabs his pistol. I've seen confirmed bighead users 15-18 years ago (we're talking W3D model bighead cheats Goldeneye on the N64 style) kill their targets slower. 

As for the rest of the discussion, Aprilwar's video is a bit ironic, because Iran is complaining about Aprilwar using triggerbot when it's not even Aprilwar fighting Iran. Early on in the video it was Aprilwar taking the last shot from behind while Iran thinks it is Aprilwar he's 1v1'ing an unknown GDI player who is standing at the waterfall. There is also a simple GDI tunnel entrance kill somewhere in the video where Aprilwar scores a first-hit headshot, with the reticle being over Iran's head for about a full second before Aprilwar actually takes his shot. I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary in the entire video. A bit unfortunate to watch him die against MDK (SBH) of all people half way in, but I'm sure we've all been there. I certainly have, MDK is funny in his own way. If anything, what his video for sure confirms is that he doesn't use something like RGH used to give back in the day, because he is constantly leaning against the tunnel walls when running around to see through the walls into Nod base. Someone who can see players through walls wouldn't put in the effort to do so.

I can't judge for anybody else. I don't really know these people due to the servers that I used to play on, but interestingly enough I'm on the list with zero comments to my name (as the only one?), while I'm sure everyone on that list has a very positive KD ratio against me in direct infantry vs infantry combat, including Iran himself. I usually just start fucking around with SBHs or just full-time tanking if anyone that posted here so far is in-game, because you all kill me more often than I kill you. Having played with Blacky and Trojan since at least 2005 (and that is when they started playing Renegade Demo, and through that RxD, with myself playing it even much longer before that time) and Renegade itself also longer than most people that are still around I have to say that I rarely see anything out of the ordinary if we ignore Chris. He's the only player that annoys the fuck out of me. I'm sure we all recognise the moment where you get a really high KD ratio initially and then once you die once you keep dying until your KD is pretty regular? Never had that happen against Chris. Him being in-game is a guaranteed 0.0 KD for me, every single time, until a new scripts update is released. After an update I have a few weeks of him being shit to enjoy infantry wars again.

Whenever my kd surpasses 10.0 I start playing cheesy. I think Vultima calls me out for that every time I do it. Sadly it's the only way for me to make it that far.

@Vultima I always appreciate your transparency. Thanks for that. If a reticle color change is the solution, I am up for it - as long as it applies to all players equally.

The three times that I have been banned before were 1) @ Jelly because anthrax made a video of me owning him with auto-rifle claiming 'aimbot'; which the mods absurdly believed him (I could stage the same scenario over and over); 2) at MPF for 'aimbot suspect' when I was playing under smurf - no proof; 3) they later reinstated that ban after years, when I decided to play in MPF again.

So I do appreciate the non-rushed decisions, because rushed decisions are lame and had me banned in the past; but I understand how past cheaters are hard to be trusted. As Iran said, I've no issue managing Protos - so it isn't plain obvious to me that he cheats just yet; he's suspicious though, and I honestly hope he's not hacking. Redpillar is my homie (same as Menorya), so I hope he's clean. In the end, I really can't and shouldn't vow for any players other than myself, so that invitation to monitor my PC while I play is still open if doubts continue if vids aren't enough.

I'm going to step away from this topic now, nuff said. Enough attention to this post-and-run jerk Iran has been paid.

Last year when you where more active you said it was 5-6 times. Now its 4, (F O U R). I am still confused Where you get These numbers from. Do you have a dice next to your keyboard? 

And yes i once used rgh on jelly it was when 3.4.4 Just came out but the bot Banned me After like 1 min ingame because i refilled on walls_flying on top of the mountains. Years later i wrote 1 unbann request Not 3 ( again Where do you get These numbers from? Or do irish ppl count different ?)
