Why was polling gameover disabled?

Thank fk it is. People abuse it if they don't like a particular map or are having a bad game. Its marathon for a reason, the game shouldn't be over until its over. Kenneths oppinion, peace out!

We are working on an alternative to it right now. It will be up in the next few days.

I agree with Kenny to a certain extent..

 

I don't personally don't like when it's like a stalemate game and it's been going on for 2 hours (like wf & air gone, hon & bar gone, etc) it's just really annoying and tbh, a lot of players leave..

 

Of course, in every map, with enough team play, you can easily win.. But sometimes there aren't just enough people willing to do so and it just goes on and on, unfortunately.

 

Just my 2 cents, can't wait for the alternative way :)

I like the post someone made in another topic to disable the base defenses after a period on time.  Seems like a good solution if possible.

We are going to do it so when !vote gameover is accepted all buildings become irreparable making the game end much quicker.

Disable Voting until 1 hour, then if successful, make all buildings un-repairable = GG

Its called Offensive Mode and i was the 1 mentioning it. But it seems you guys allready found an alternative method :)

ya i could care less because my attention span is that of a little kids so I usually peace out on those stalemates....although years ago I was a part of history being in a 5 day straight marathon....i woke up with gummie bears stuck to my face, alarm clock smashed, 12 empty redbull cans around me and a missing right click button...it was awesome

I think what people are talking about is the old 'Blown Fuse' crate we used to have at n00bless where the Ob and AGT went offline for 2 mins after someone got the crate.

 

If that's what you mean, it's a really funny crate.

When voted for Sudden Death makes all buildings unrepairable.
