To celebrate his life and our other fallen renegade players such as zunnie, Bears, Wyld, Frozen and Spoonplex, we put up a tribute server so we could get some games going this up coming weekend (3/12 - 3/14) We don't have an official time set yet but we could possibly do 11 am PST, 2 pm EST, 8 pm Germany. But he was too young to die, and I wouldn't wish his disease on anyone. I am sorry he passed. That said, you can count me and Zend in on playing in the tribute. Back in 2004-05 when for the first time ever I took a game and played online, I remember Spoony as a large influence in the community. I've never dealt or communicated with him, but he always seemed like a genuine individual who had great intentions for everybody. It saddens me to know the list will only grow. The wrecks are on though, so it doesn't get too boring, and the time limit is 45 minutes AOW. *wrecks aren't actually on, damn thing is broken, so scratch that* The IRC channel for this will be #rc-comm. Those of you who normally join the #rc-aow channels, will be auto-joined to the #rc-comm and its admin. Full mods and up will have access to: !gman <- give all godmode + nukes !gma10sec <- gives all godmode + 10 second nukes(may be simpler to use the normal nukes, this may be a bitch and wreck timing). !massmurder <- self explanatory(when the nuking is done, just kill all of the gods). That way, we won't have to waste a bunch of time/effort trying to wrangle people onto one team for the random mass nukings we do.
