Feda Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Anyone knows if thats possible? Without some special stuff I know its not, but maybe someone knows a way to do it? I know its a weird question but still ^^ I need it for Windows 98. Thanks
BillieJoe67 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Install this on 98: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloads/windows-installer-2-0-for-windows-95-windows-98-and-windows-me-HA001049894.aspx Then you should be able to run the normal redistributable for 3.5 http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=65
Feda Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 Im getting an error for the win installer 2.0 : "The specified service already exists" . Framework's installer doesnt work though, the .msi file cant be launched cuz theres no Windows Installer 2.0 installed I guess. It asks to browse for a prog to open with.
