i appreciate the ted talk. im well aware of the history here.

did me knowing Rob IRL open a potential door to join his team? yes. did my 15 years experience playing this game and maybe 10 or so on IRC, and other tools, + education in computer science/programming add to that? yes. to claim it was favoritism may be your perception but at the end of the day, the fact is that there was a lot more to it than just me being friends with him IRL; i actually wanted to do a lot more here.

 

anyways lol as mentioned, this topic has gone completely lopsided; i will concede.
