You shouldnt be resigning at all. Shaitan may not do things how we see fit, but he's kept renegade alive for years.

I feel bad tuna is actually upset. I heard it in his voice on discord as he was eating his feelings away in ice cream. I never knew Tunaman could not be happy an unbothered. Ive only ever seen him slightly agitated playing with ILL. But this mod removal put him into a spiral

Towards the end anyway it was mainly just me doing it all anyway, you worked on Brenbot and tinkered with things here and there I was making coding changes that impacted the gameplay which was the primary focus.
Fun fact: Take it with a pinch of salt, but I gave you a grace period to backup any of your assets off the server, and what do I wake up to the next day? A broken server NONE of them would start and they were all offline..What do I wake up 2 days later, DDOS attacks DESPITE it running completely flawlessly for 2 months, could be a coincidence I can't prove any of which.

How I typed it in previous post. Thanks for info will look into it.

Nicest internet guy I've ever met.  Everyday he gets on he says the exact same thing, "Hey how's it going?!"  Easily the most pleasant Renegader around.  When he leaves he says the same thing everytime, "Hey thanks for playing!"

In seriousness though, I wanna thank everyone for helping bring back funwars and helping support Renegade.  Shai, Many and RC in general were fantastic in supporting our effort.  Thanks so much for your support and putting up servers.

Vult has also been fantastic in helping us evolve and move forward.  I also can’t thank him enough.  

I know as a community sometimes we have differences in opinions, but I think at the end of the day we all still enjoy and want the best for Renegade.

If any of you know Shaitan he wouldn't do of this if he didn't think it was necessary to protect this community and its member's. I've known Shaitan 15 plus years now we've never seen eye to eye but always ended up having each others backs and always had the same goal and we always helped each othrt out and before any of you say I know fuck all I'll say one thing if you want to reveal myself I will and Shaitan knows what comes with me and it packs a punch. So Shaitan is doing what any owner would do protecting his community I did it back in the days of St0rm and MPF before been screwed by 2 people and Manuel you still suck :) that quote should be enough for now

It won't. It's just the nature of things, given enough time they just fall apart and no matter how strong the pillars are, the hardest they fall.

You may not have been around long enough to notice but Drama with a capital D is always overblown between e-people who can't really understand each other. Just a throw back to that Gumby incident nearly a decade ago where I pulled a harmless joke on IRC but he made it his hill, shit happened way beyond the scope and he just left over it. It's really not the first time we've seen mass departures and mass protests around here. My wise advice would be to just take a step back and look at the facts, both from the owners/admins (I'm not really an admin, I don't know shit for real) and from the other perspective. I think both sides are trying hard to make this a better place but through different means and with different fears. Shaitan seems to be taking a lot of flak in this story so far but I'm looking things from his side and it just makes sense with the decisions he's taken. He's invested so much in RenCorner and put so much work in it, he can't just let things go to a gamble for a few folks who want to fasttrack stuff and I'm sorry but I'm taking his side in this story. He's far from perfect and I don't know him much better than some of you do probably but if HE falls, I believe not only RC falls but a major part of Renegade falls as well.

Mind yourself, both sides have good intentions. Vultima, you did what you thought was right and what I also believe is right. You're not wrong when you state that you believe you belong more with Unstoppable/MPF. They do move things faster and you might have more freedom, and it's fine that way and in the end we need people like you, like those we consider our "competitors" to innovate and bring players back to this dying game. I'll go further than that : you're a good person Vultima, cold headed and IMO as trustworthy as they come. It's a shame things happened this way and now fates have been dealt and you all have to deal with it. No matter how things will end up, I believe Renegade will still have a bright future because for some amazing reason two decades later people still give a shit about it and care for what's being done with it.

I'll just end this short message with a disclamer that I'm not writting this exactly sober (excuse the typos) but I also think it's when my emotions are just right to give a leveled answer with a right mindset.

Drama aside, this is true. Renegade is full of people trying to improve the game in their own way, and it's ok to find the best environment to do that.

For real though, the amount of effort in both sides is stupid. 

All you guys needed was a stock Renegade server for smaller games.  Didn't even need TT patch or any of this crap.  It didn't need to turn into separate communities and drama.  We're talking about like 20 people most of which didn't ever play in rencorner.  What an overblown dumb argument.

If it weren't for TT patch, back in the day cheats would of been rampant, and a fixed a bunch of stuff you've probably forgot we're even issues, not to mention making ren work at all on windows 11
