Rencorner's Terraria VIP System Explained

Looks like you got VIP, this system is complicated, so I'll explain it in this LONG post.

Getting VIP: When you get VIP, you will have this blue title: (VIP) you can select your class with /class select, there are three classes: Mage, Ranger, Melee. Sadly, there's no summoner :( 

After you select your class: When you select your class, you will be an orange rank with a copper weapon behind you corresponding to your class. You will have some items unbanned. ex: sand and portal gun. You will likely see people with a different title and/or different color. You can learn about these on this site: https://rencorner.co/RCTranks . This shows you every custom weapon for each class and a lot of other info. 

Custom Weapons: There are over 130 unique custom weapons as of when I'm typing this. You can use /cw list to see every custom weapon you have unlocked. You unlock new custom weapons through ranking up. there are also a few enchantments, but they are hard to obtain. 

Ranks: There are 123 ranks as I'm typing this. Ranking up costs server platinum which can be obtained by pvping, pveing, or voting. High ranks will cost Ether. You can vote once per day with /vote and /vote2. You can use /rank to see how much platinum you need to rank up (ex: you need 72 platinum coins to rank up and you are a Doomsayer) Ranks will usually give you one new custom weapon. You will also get more viphp, which increases your max life, and vipmp, which increases your max mana. your custom weapons, viphp, and vipmp will reset when rejoining. And some ranks increase how many defines you have. To rank up, use /rank up when you have enough resources.

Defines: You will start with 7 defines and when you reach the final (as of 8/10/2024) you will get 15 house defines. You can define areas with /house define, and to view how many defines you have, use /house. use /house share to let others build in your defined area and /house unshare if you don't want them to build there anymore. Use /house resize to resize the house.

Raids: Raids are events where players fight a tough boss with event stats. You can use whatever you have to defeat the raid. You need to do it with multiple people in a party. There are great rewards for defeating a raid which helps getting equipment to increase your event stats

Event Stats: Event stats are stats used in custom PvP and raids. There are 8 stats: Item Level, Health, Vitality, Armor, Resistance, Attack, Expertise, Critical Strike Chance, Critical Damage, Accuracy, and Evasion. You can equip event gear to increase these stats. 

Event Gear: this is gear that is crafted from raids and is hard to obtain, mainly because of the low chance to get Ether. It basically increases event stats.

Enchantments: Enchantments are rare weapons usually obtained from gambling and do not require a command to use. There are three main enchantments and they are really powerful. You need at least ten server platinum to have a 1% chance to get an enchantment.

Very informative post Exo, however I would edit it to mention that the 123 ranks are split into 41 ranks per class and how each new rank gives you access to a new (sometimes 2 or more!) custom weapon of your class, and go into more detail on how event stats work with each other and how to roll for enchantments

A further refinement suggestion, enchantments arent actually weapons, instead, they modify how certain weapons or items behave. Take an example: Spear of Ragnarok, for instance, instead of being a weapon, it instead modifies how gungnir and longinus function by adding properties to them, namely the daybreaks, cardinal explosions, and small chance for ragnaros' fury
