New rotation and maps that could be set manually now and then

Thanks to the input of our community, we implemented a new rotation. Special thanks to @MaxRen06 for all his input! And thanks to @ExEric3 for his work implementing this, and to al developers who fixed maps! You all know who you are ;-). 

You will note we kept the 1 base defense / 2 rush maps logic. We can see how it goes and what feedback we get from all of you.

The red squares are new maps. It may seem like a lot of new maps, but some of them are other versions of maps we know and some were in the rotation before. Eg tomb_spooky is a new version of tomb which plays the same way but is a bit more ... spooky! We may thank @Forithow for that!

Same for Uphill, we currently have uphill_rxd and Uphill is the version without base defenses and without pimp weapons. Slightly different but it will change the gameplay, you'l have to be even more careful of those pesky sbh's or sneaky hotties ;-).

We do have some completely new maps as well, like Old_Times_b5 and River_Raid for everyone to enjoy. I will make some screenshots and add them to this topic.

Gobi makes a comeback: it's an infantry only map with a time limit of 20 minutes. And we even have a whole new game mode: hon_dm1 is an infantry only domination map of 20 minutes (or 5.000 score, whichever you reach first) Capture the "flags", repair them to make them yours.

Some maps did not make it mostly because they are too big for smaller player numbers. If we have a lot of players in the server, a moderator may set one of them manually from time to time.

Hourglass_FlyDB: Hourglass but flying and bigger
Coast_Flying: base defense maps which seems inspired by hourglass, it's quite closed and big
SeasideCanyon: one way in for tanks, one way in infantry. Not the worst map
Oasis_Flying: decent looking map, but needs a LOT of players
Tropics: nice looking, quite big, open and prolly favored to stanks
AlpineDB: only one way in for tanks and one way in for infantry
Arid
Country_meadow: not the worst map, but very big. The only rush map in this list
Terrace: could be enjoyable with a lot of players

Nice, let's try this. I can already hear some screams over all new maps but let's try lol.

TY ALL FOR ALL THE FIXES

1 question here: why uphill without def? I feels it's already even but won't that only make it harder for GDI?

Thanks everyone for including, testing and setting up all the new maps, including the brand-new Domination map, which was recommended by me to add it, in order to make a variety in game modes, and to take a look at fresh angle.

I was glad to help with this map rotation and suggest possible new ideas.

We have both uphill and uphill_rxd in the rotation now. So one iwth and one without base defenses. Two different experiences. We will see how it goes with the sbh's.

Please also note not all bugs have been fixed. The devs are still working on a lot of VIS bugs and some lightning problems. This takes a lot of time, bug fixes will be added map per map.

I will gather all feedback during a week and see if we need to do some replacements next weekend based on all the feedback. This rotation isn't written in stone but I ask all to have an open mind and try it out, give these maps a chance.

Somewhere add that Field_RxD with new VIS. We need test it with +30 players. In old rotation we also had 4 variants of this map so it shouldnt be issue. Frost map u have on test server.

So, today we were playing, and spotted a problem with the Tomb_Spooky map. It periodically crashes at random time. At least 3 or 4 players crashed, including me. I have already sent a crashdump to @Goztow.

This map needs fixing as well.

We will replace spooky by normal tomb until spooky crashes are fixed

Would be nice to clean ttfs from duplicated packages or delete it completelly since its generally know some packages can be corrupted if your client randomly crashes just to make sure its not caused by map iself.

Yes but I doubt we can get random people to do this. I did not have crashes and I had deleted my ttfs a few days ago.

But why tho? I don't think its a good idea to play on the same maps rotation with the same maps for years, something new is OK, and moreover, the interest to play on new maps becomes higher.  Also, in fact, nothing else was changed except for the new maps. The server is still the same.

Btw, we still need to play on some newly added maps with more players (like 30-40+) in order to unleash the full potential and make final conclusions.

Backstab

Personally, I don't feel Backstab fits well in the current rotation. The base layout feels a bit awkward, and the overall map design comes across as cramped, which can make gameplay feel more chaotic than enjoyable

@Goztow hope you have noted somewhere all changes which was already made because I wouldnt manually comparing files again. Last time it took me over 2 hours.

Map had some bugs including invisible ladder to go on top of wf so it got removed about 10 hours ago.

What map replaces Backstab then?

Also I have thought, that this map in my opinion, should be placed to "set manually if necessary" box.

River_raid has potential but instead it's just a huge field making it easy for b2b and sniping and not easy to walk on sides for a sneaky tech... feels like bunker without defence and without the hill and bigger. I don't feel like we could keep it without modifications
