Toggeable settings cannot be implemented because then will comes dramas why xxx player see it and im not seeing it.

thats a BS excuse because its optional if you dont want others to see it then keep it enabled

 

honestly for me it is distracting me every game especially the color my eyes just go to it automatically but even if color was different still not workin wit me

I have to be honest, I am not a fan of this feature at all. It is both distracting to me (since it is sort of out of bounds of the regular screen) as well as hard to read... especially the crate notifications shouldnt be up there in my humble opinion. I didnt mind the veteran points in the chat at all, since they were color coded. I liked it much more the way it was before. I could always tell how much i contributed to a vehicle or tank kill based on that, now its super annoying the way it is :)

I like it a lot. The chat is such a cluster fuck, any attempt to clean it up a bit is welcome. It may take some getting used to before your brain will filter it out if it distracts you now, because it's new. Give it some time.

I'm not against making it toggable in the sens of showing the messages or not showing the messages for a player. But that requires coding so time.

Crate spawn messages I commented out. So console texts will handle only veteran points messages. Crate spawn messages are still in source file for testing purposes into the future.

You are talking about this and considering it a problem, why? Just because you were used to the old way. In my opinion, don't talk about it now. You can just give it some time, you will get used to it and it will be good for you.

Let's leave some time for her for example. month 

Then we start talking about this.. who liked it and who didn't 

Sometimes when someone sees something new, they are disgusted by its appearance, but then they realize that it is supposed to be so they start to get used to it..

In addition, Eric goes to great lengths and does excellent things to make you feel renewed... and you reject them.

For my part, I saw this feature at the beginning; it was a bit distracting because it changed, but I think that by playing a lot, this small message in the top left will blend into the game's background. Just changing the color to a neutral one will affect players less and make them less likely to focus on this small message in the top left when it appears.

Oh I meant no disrespect at all! I know Eric puts a lot of effort into these things, and he has helped me out many times as well. I was just voicing my opinion. I never had a problem with the previous chat version, I quite liked the way it was, thats all :) It was much easier to follow, how much you actually contributed in destroying stuff etc, now I either can hardly read it, or get constantly distracted by it xD

I will make my opinion on this change. For me, its good, and I totally agreed with Gozy, because the main in-game chat now less overfilled like it was used before. What I found kinda out-of-place is the Crate Spawn announcements. They should be disabled, and the only sign that a new Crate has spawned should be the tiny sound effect (like it is now).

Very cool. This is exactly what was needed. No notification for the boxes. Just sound to new crate
