Can we make a poll to see if anyone still wants this map in rotation?

From what I've seen a lot of players leave on it and I'm not really a fan of it myself, it could be replaced with another map such as hourglass (this is an example those of you who dislike hourglass don't flame ok )

Mesa is actually a good map. Idk why people would leave on it. Especially now that starting credits are lower and GDI has a chance (yes i brought starting credits back into this topic). Maybe all of Nod is rqing because they cant get 5 artys into the cave before gdi has 1 med

I really don't have any problem with mesa and the lower starting money should fix the arty spamming thing in early game. I like hourglass as well, but usually u get more stalemates on that, at least from what I've played. I'd remove under instead

Agreed! Hourglass is great in big games, I think it would be even better if the no hillcamping rule was enforced but that's just my opinion.

I personally like Mesa. I'll take a look at the stats and see how many are leaving when it comes on. As for hourglass it gets very controversial. I do not mind the map but I feel it may hurt the server. We could possibly do a trial on it.

Anyone who would rather play hourglass over mesa is not allowed to play commwars for rencorner anymore.

Speaking of which, gumby should have a post up and running soon for some weekend practice wars. Should be planning to try Jelly again in April to play

Now that we do have a stock AOW server up (which I doubt anyone will or does care about) - we can have a rotation with more maps in general. Less Field and Under, more other stock maps and other fan [new] maps.

 

I'm down for anything at this point.

A trial wouldn't hurt it's a better precaution than removing mesa completely and going in at the deep end, looking forward to see what happens!

I do care about AOW, I like it. Would like to see snow on the AOW server, its a nice map.

I'm up for the trial for hourglass: it'll give some fresh air since we never played hourglass on RC.
