I vote that we should implement commands for the highest rank to reward people who hit the highest rank.

 

My favorite would be !spy for 3,000-5,000 credits or like certain tanks other than the light or meds you get from !veh or even like a !tech command, It would make the value of trying your hardest for the highest  rank in the server that much more rewarding.

It would also make the game really one-sided, that means arty-whores who don't do nothing else all game, can just buy a spy and end the game late game. I agree with like the general suggestion, but I think it should be more like: unlocking the !weapons command at colonel, unlocking the !veh command at brigadier and so on

By highest rank do you mean the ladder or veteran system? Rewarding ladder rank with ingame benefits isn't going to happen. More benefits for the veteran system is possible and could be implemented.

It would be interesting to see what ideas come up for higher rank perks beyond the usual weapons/vehics/characters.

 

Idea on the spot, special commands per class.

tier 1/2 weapon commands = 60 vp

tier 3 weapon commands = 100 vp

tank commands = 150 vpwould be good imo

It can be done. We need to decide on what benefits we want. We also need to consider whats going to be fair. So Let's throw a bunch of suggestions out and pick the bests ones.

Not my really my area, but I think that achieving any balance in games is one of the most important things, making a map balanced, making ranks balanced, making add-ons balanced, but if I may suggest something, just shoot me down if I'm wrong

If I may suggest: -Possible mini games like tank vs. tank battles and have a staff member create a tournament

-Possibly a bounty system for the player in the lead?

-Any other custom game modes such as infection would be cool IMO

The bounty idea I like, but it may just people to sniping instead of tanking. Ironic as I snipe more than I tank I know but these suggestions are nice to see I just hope the server isn't overloaded.with them. Modifications are good and all but to a certain extent imo.

Why not make it so that both teams can buy a spy for like 5-10k? And have to be a certain rank for it as well. The !veh thing wouldnt work since the amount of players we have in the server could be more than the tank limit. Also, it wouldnt be far if gdi and nod didnt have air or weps because arties would just dominate the rest of the game. Of course if you can buy arties for both teams then it would even it out a bit more.I very much agree with the !tech tho! It would make things quite a bit more difficult for the other team.

if you played in st0rm at all, you'll recall their system where guys like falcod666 would be able to buy anything in the game before regular players could buy buggies and stuff just because he played there 24/7

if a high ranked player could buy a spy with 5k credits, there would be no reason for a high ranked player to do anything but that every game (unless it was a very small game)

even a God crate somehow seems less menacing than a spy crate in that instance
