Minecraft Tuesday Game Night Event

I want to let everyone know that the maze/etc I've been working will be done shortly.  I plan on having the grand open at about 4pm cst Tuesday night.

 

During the event we will have 1 person at a time run through the course, which will be timed for prizes later on. If you'd like to join in please post within this thread saying so.  We will go in order, first come first serve.  The times will eventually get posted in the lobby of the course.

 

I also would like to do a lottery, 1 diamond per number, which will be selected at random.  I will add your name and numbers after I collect the diamond(s) in game.

 

Maybe a donation pool for players, picked at random.

 

I'll update this thread later today and leading to Tuesday, if you have any suggestions feel free to post them.

Nice idea, I don't know if I am available at 4:00 (5:00edt) though as I have a late morning appointment that may take 3 or 4 hours and a 1 hour drive back home.

Sorry for the double post, but the way you could do the lottery would be better/more random if you used a command block. It would give a random player on the server say 4 diamonds? The prize doesn't matter, but what you can do is;

 

/give @r itemID amount

 

then just press a button on a command block and presto, some random person just received some diamonds/something else.

If anyone is interested in the lottery you can go ahead and fork over the diamonds for the pool.  I figured we could do 1-100, I'd get a random number generator to pick the number closest one would get 50% of the total diamonds, next would get 30%, then 20%.

 

Also the top 3 best times for completing the course will be awarded diamonds.  Each time will be recorded on the side of the course by the lobby.

How bout a person puts a certain amount of diamonds in, and they receive a certain amount of lottery picks? I think it should be like 5 dia for the first one, 15 for second, 25 for third etc.

I was able to fixed it but I was up for 24 hours and tried to wake myself up for the event and I turned my alarm clock off in my sleep.
