This story made me sick to my stomach, how on earth can such low life people have the cheek to make someone so young and innocent take their own life. Scum like that shouldn't walk this earth.

I want everyone to read this and THINK before you SPEAK, the increasing number of trolls in this game and for the wider picture online.

 

I hope certain people find this topic and stop before they do some real damage, you never know how people will take things.

 

 

R.I.P to this young girl, I hope this sort of thing is avoided in the future, they are talking about telling someone to kill themselves online to become a criminal offense I am 100% behind that as I'm sure many others are!!

Apparently Ask.fm are claiming 98% of the troll posts on her page were sent by herself (or at least from a computer with the same I.P.)

Strange indeed gumbo guess we will have to wait and see, although my original message remains the same it's not the first time this has happened I just find it quite sickening.

This is very sad indeed. 

 

The underlying problem is bullying. It has always been an issue. Kids are mean. They are for a variety of reasons:

-Make themselves feel bigger

-Abuse at home

-Encouragement from peers

-Psychological problems

Honestly too many factors too name.

 

The problem is the internet has made it way to easy to do so. Unfortunately there is not current way to police it. It would have to involve international law and honestly there would be far too many people to prosecute. The websites where the bullying happened as completely protected by their term of service. They make all users agree to them before registering. The main thing that needs to be done is parents need to monitor what their children are doing online. They need to make sure they have good communication with their kids and set up blocks on their computers. It is tragic but bullying on and off the internet is something that I cannot imagine will ever go away. 

 

Thoughts are with the girls family though, I can't imagine what they are going through.

Couldn't agree more Volcom, society is on a downhill spiral it seems but I'm just glad that places like here exist we're the rules on this sort of stuff are actually enforced, players find comfort here and that's good to know. If only the rest was like that its just a shame it takes a death for others to realise the damage that is caused
