Spoken like a true 20 something. Still in your idealistic part of your life.   In my day, it was sex, drugs, and rock n roll.  Of course it was before Aids. By 45, you should have tried most of what life offers and made most of your mistakes in life.  Your list will look different a that age also.

This is so true. I just wish more people would realize it and take it to heart... Though I am only 21 I look at other people and how they live their lives and wonder how long until they grow up and act like an adult. Guess it really helps that I hate parties and large groups of people. I'm very happy with where I am in life looking back on how I was in my younger days and the struggles I have had growing up. Even in high school, most people think being popular will make high school life good, (from what I have seen in the HS I was at), bugger that, i am happy that I was a so to say 'outcast' and spent my lunch in the computer lab with friends programing a text adventure. I am happy that I stayed 'my self' in high school and made my own fashion, my own trends, my own extra curricular activities. In a sense you could call me a 'hipster' in the fact that I hated sports, had no intention to go to any school games. But a good 95% of the school did and would travel to the football games. I went to regional and got 1st, I went to state and got 3rd, no one but my other team mates where there to cheer us on, but who goes to computer programing competitions anyway? High schools today make me sick. I saw few things when I went, 'Jocks, Preps, Druggies, and sluts.'  For me it was a good choice to stick to my small group of 'computer nerds' The things we did is what made high school fun, and has been useful ever since. I have not heard one person say that the senior keg has helped them in life later on.

Life and School is only as good as you make it. If you dread going to class at 7am, your not going to do your best in that class and chances are you are going to dislike it. In college CCNA was my first class and I looked forward to it every day, I mean I get to wake up and go play inside a $3000 router for an hour. Not sure about anyone else but that's not school to me. But on the other side, oral communications and writ 101 I hated, and I ended up not doing so well in those classes. Only because I dreaded them every time I had to go, through out the class I was only thinking about when It was out and how much I wish I was doing anything but this. So again its all up to you how you make your life out to be.

I work a shitty job, the work is hard, un-thanked, and low pay. But I will say this, yeah McDonalds isn't a dream job, but the things I have learned there will go with me to every job I have. Dealing with drunk rush 5 times a day for 15 months, dealing with angry, yelling, verbally abusive customers for 15 moths. That's taught me so much about costumer service and how to handle situations like those very well.

They pay isn't much more than minimum after 15months and a promotion, but the friends I work with, and the fun we have while working makes my job fun and enjoyable. Yes there are those select few that I secretly would get hit by a bus. But I have seen what drama in the work place does and I just keep it to my self and just act friendly to them. it will make your life and your coworkers life so much easier.

As that list stated, a lot of people have it much worse than you. There is so many things that could improve in my life. But what really matters is, that you are healthy and happy.  And as long as you are happy with your self, who gives two fucks what anyone else thinks of you.

Well that is my rant for the month. Hope you all enjoyed! XD
