My mouse and keyboard won't work once i'm in a game

I've literally never had this happen! Anyone know what's going on??? It will work at the server list, but as soon as i'm in a game keyboard won't work, mouse won't work....

I've had this problem atleast once..

 

Try plugging in your keyboard and mouse into the back of the computer, use a diff USB

 

Also try check your settings your keyboard/mouse settings may be out of sync.

 

Also make sure your drivers are up to date

Have you installed anything lately?  Maybe a program update?  Try restoring to before the trouble started or if you have an image, restore the image.

The game is Renegade(be more specific nub)?

Check either this section or the renegade section, there was a recent topic about it(keys.cfg).

See if someone will send you their keys.cfg and input01.cfg from my documentsrenegadeclient

iirc you just delete keys.cfg, its a 4.0 bug

Sounds like your controls are screwed up, go to options in the 1st screen, click on controls.

Sorry, I thought you meant all games in my 1st post.

It came out of nowhere! I didn't install anything or any changes. I've tried all these solutions. Now I use my solution ~ Sledgehammer to CPU over and over again.

I just got a new pc, I have no idea what the problem was.

Loki listen to me for fixing Renegade issues like this lol Start > My documents > Renegade > Client > delete file config.dat > start Renegade > all keys are reset to default > set your keys again problem solved
