Ren won't launch

Nightmare right now ...So I wanted to play Renegade today and got an error message about some dll file ...I run renlist anyone know about this issue or how to resolve it . I tried to download the dll from microsoft I think but nothing worked ...please don't tell me I have to reformat my computer again ...

Try reinstalling scripts 4.0

Reinstall that piece of crap 4.0. I had to do it repeatedly. Frankly idk how mine started working, just kept doing it.

 

You can also try and reinstall it with the TT download here.

 

One issue "fix" here.

Just had the exact same problem today.

 

It's caused by the update for the UAV Launcher.

 

Re Downloading 4.0 from the TT link Shai posted fixes it. 

 

(Well at least it did for me).

Anyone reading this that is having an issue with the new scripts. Go to the Tiberian Technologies page. Download scripts 4.1 and install them. Fixes the issue.

Great thank you very much you guys I think it worked...I still get an error message upon launch saying that I failed to connect to server? and that I might not be able to play online and prompts yes or no so I hit yes and seems to work ...Thank you Gumby shai and robo
