ice187dna Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 So which one do you prefer to play on? Between 1990's - 2000's : Console 2000's to present day : PC What I have: (yes I never got rid of them) Commodore 64. 3DO - was my brothers but I played on them. Sega Mega Drive. PlayStation 1. PlayStation 2. Post your answers below.
vlatkozelka Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 i owned an Atari , Sega mega drive , PS , PS2 , Xbox 360 , PSP , 3 laptops and 2 PCs . My current is a PC . I am definitely voting for the PC : Graphics are way better , console graphics are just downscaled BS. Upgradable hardware unlike having to stick with an old as fuck VGA for 4+ years . Also new techs come around every while like NVidia msaa , FXAA4 ,DSR...all via a simple driver download . PS and xbox would have to release a new console (usually slim) just to add that , and the people who bought the console early on can fuck themselves . Multitasking Mouse ... srsly , idk how people enjoy shooting with a joystick , it even feels more accurate than a mouse cuz the games help u since its basically impossible to aim with a joystick . have you ever heard an Xbox while running ? its like a lawn mower lol . Tweaking , maybe i dont like motion blur and rediculous ammount of post-processing , on a PC i can just turn those off . Really the only thing good about a console is u put a CD and it runs , so its good for those who arent good with PC hardware ... but nowadays a 150$ graphics card can beat any console out there , yes 150$ , have u seen the GTX750Ti ? or the 970 ? Its basically unjustified to buy a console nowadays , ud get a monster PC for the same price , and be able to do much more stuffs with . 1
ozedj Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Holy hell volcom plays ps4 And I prefer PC but play ps4 as well
DrSithis Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Note 4, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Mainly PC. But I spend more time on Netflix than anything. ;p I included the Note 4, because when you think about it; phones/tablets COULD be considered another gaming console.

Actually , its a very interesting thing u mentioned there , i read once that xbox ONE and PS4 might be the last generation of consoles . As you can see most people now play games on their phones rather than PC or consoles( we dont call them hardcore gamers tho ) Also was written that the only thing thats keeping phones behind is the controls and that once they figure that out then its gg consoles .
DrSithis Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Not only that, but some phones can already be bluetoothed up to computers (especially Android devices compatible with ChromeOS) to play games. So technically speaking tablets/laptops/chromebook running ChromeOS are a mobile console that can be taken anywhere, anytime; just like mobile devices for controller-like features to play games on the ChromeOS.
