So I have C&C renegade yet I have no clue how to connect to our severs? gamespy was shutdown so I can't use them and westwood online doesn't work.

DL renlist, unzip wheverever u want. Make sure u have it check the updates and do the options setup for wol/xwis(if ur serial is legit) or gsa.

So I have unzipped it and opened the exe yet it says it can't detect my installation, I got a legit copy of it with origin, Yet when I try to use my origin key for the WOL login it won't accept it

So I set the path to the exe of renegade right, but now when I attempt to join a GSA sever it says "missing required file ssleay32.dll"

You said you have Renegade installed, did you add the tt scripts?

Welcome to Origin, because that shit makes no sense. I don't think I've ever see Ren with that dll. o.0

Also D3D8.dll, delete that from your renegade directory and It should stop that error showing and you can play the game as normal. Worked for me

So I don't have a D3D8.dll file anywhere in my renegade directory, And tt scripts won't like me chose a destination folder.

So maybe you should remove renegade, delete the folders and reinstall renegade, 1.037 patch, tt4 scripts. So maybe that'll work!  So try that....

All ready deleted the files and installed it again, no change, And I can't install the TT scirpts.

Go here: http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.html and use this to uninstall, it removes entries in your registry as well.

It seems if you own an origin copy of renegade that the serial provided isn't liked by tt's installer, any plans on looking into this?

Never mind, I expected it to enable the next button when you entered a serial that it was okay with, but apparently it does the check when you click close.

As for your installation, I believe you don't need to give path to tt script installation, it installs automatically to your ren directory. And if you wanna play on WOL then visit xwis.net for nick creation.

What is the pathway to your Renegade folder?

Also look inside the main folder, which .exe is there? Renegade.exe, Game.exe, game2.exe, or UAC Launcher.exe?

Do you have irc or team viewer? Try getting on irc and pm me there. As for installation of tt, click browse and provide it the path where you have installed ren and it will work, hopefully. Also, make a backup of your orignal ren just in case.

That's the problem most likely. If you look at this link they have 4.0 scripts installers set to look for certain pathways(in your registry too).

Remember that "Origin makes no sense"? Yeah...fuck Origin. The pathway is way different. Are you able to install Renegade whoever you choose? That's prolly what you need to try. C:\Westwood\Renegade\
