I dont Know what you Think guys but me i want Remove this Death Crate somme time it funny but i dont like it and this death crate spawn in players too 90% or 80% this happening Too me it can be funny when we remove this :)

And when i get all weapons and killed by crate i catch my pc lol

I'm sure a lot of people don't like the death crate - even myself included. But it's part of the game. Deal with it.

There needs to be some bad crates so its a risk to get them. If all crates shot out rainbows and puppies they would be way too OP.

Wow, in less than a week I can count more than 5 topics complaining about something...

 

Stop complaining about everything jeez. And yeah, im complaining about complaining.

I think that ingame complaints are good as long as they stay ingame... I can't imagine

people getting out of work, and while driving home thinking "i think I will make a topic

about how much I hate stealth adrenaline-secondwind visceroids".

IMO there should be more negative crates (in percentage). Could you post the current percentages?

 

From my personal experience, it's very rare to have negative crates. You could of course consider that character changes or vehicles changes can be negative, but other than that I only really saw the death crate as a negative crate in the game. Maybe I haven't gotten into all of them yet.

 

What about a crate that makes you loose all weapons but your pistol? Thief crate that transfers half your money into a team donate (for your of for the other team)? A crate that makes you slowly loose health "degeneration crate". Etc.

 

The odds of getting a negative crate could be around 30 - 35 %. People would need to consider "is it worth the risk".

So EMP and death are really the only negative crates and the odds are relatively low. I surely wouldn't lower it even more.

 

It's true that the original crates were only good crates as well, but their impact on the game was way lower. The randomness is needed in Marathon games though, to break the stale mates.

Can we add a baguette crate?

 

1. Infantry, primary weapon is replaced with un baguette.

 

2. Vehicles, Vehicle is transfomed into French bicycle (with full baguette carrier).

P.S. I'll bet one of you old 'skinners' like G1D could make a baguette weapon and vehicle skin.

I removed most of the bad crates when I made the current version of the crates. Most of them were filler and I wanted the crates to be more positive than they had been in the past. The only 100% bad one left is the death crate, which is a classic and in other C&C games. EMP, overhaul, and random character can also be bad depending on the circumstances.

 

 

I just looked and you had a 36% chance of getting a bad crate in the very first version, some a lot worse than death.
