I was watching football last night and received this news and this is getting really out of hand with the so called immigration policy in Europe...

This was next to my country, I'm predicting this will happen more often...

It hasn't been that long since the killing of that cartoonist, also in France.

Imagine you going to a concert with your friends, and this happens, slaughtering you like cows. Ugh.

R.I.P. the victims in Paris.

France's security had broken down,  They should have been under surveillance and stopped.  How the hell did someone get into the concert with shotguns?

Actually they had AKs and grenades!

Even so, how do you acquire such weaponry? I don't think they smuggled them in.  For a country that suffered several terrorist attacks recently I can assume they had some more security in airports etc. I can only guess that there is someone in there supplying them with guns.

It's just sad to see innocent people killed, they don't deserve it.

Scary stuff. My thoughts are with all the families in France. The war on terror never seems to end. These extremists are relentless as fuck. They have called out Britain, Canada, Australia, and Russia. Let's hope our Countries remain safe and keep our thoughts focused on the people that had to endure this senseless and brutal act. IMO this is the major downfall of religion. When someone believes something so blindly that they cause intentional harm on others because they think it pleases their god.

I hope no one at Rencorner was personally affected by this attack.

Such a tragedy :(

I was wondering what that explosion was when I was watching Germany vs France game. I heard it twice. Those damn suicide bombers...

Thoughts and prayers to everyone who's affected by this.

2 bombs went off like 3 km from my house in a mosque on Thursday night . Got 40+ lives last time I checked and word is its 60+ and a hell lot of severe injuries, there's this one kid that lost an eye a leg and both his parents right in front of him.

But ofc this is Lebanon so no one gives a damn.

NOT saying I am not concerned with what's happening in France , I got some relatives there since a lot of Lebanese continue PHD in France.Had to make a lot of contacts last night to make sure they are safe.

RIP to all the victims , and I hope the others get out safe and sound

Don't be offended but please don't make French blood royal, it doesn't different from syrian / israeli / lebanease / yazidi / kurd or any other blood.

I never saw such grief or shared feelings or social network campaign to color the profile picture in blue-white-red when families were slaughtered with axes while they were sleeping or young females are sold like sheep in ISIS markets or suicide bombers are blowing themselves inside mosques or markets.

Come on, stop the hypocrisy and look - the world isn't a safe place. Religious fanatics are everywhere, just pay attention to the double standards the EU is showing regarding to terror attacks.

My heart goes to everyone who's suffered death from cowardly terror attacks and my mercy to all who's still blind.

There's a huge difference when a developed nation gets attacked. Blood is blood but when an ally gets attacked it's much more closer to home and much more serious. I was waiting for a post like that and it isn't needed. We all know people are dying everyday. When people die at a theatre in an established country it is a much bigger deal.

Rob

I don't see any difference between terror attacks in Parisian theater or race in Boston or club in Tel-Aviv. All three cities are at developed countries.

I'd like to see what the eorupean citizens will do now that the war has come to them, will they build walls around the no-go zones? or maybe just let it pass and turn the other cheek?

Best of luck

Countries like Lebanon aren't "heavily" (notice the " " ) secured as France, Belgium or Germany, that is why it makes it more frightening when stuff like last night happens.

Belgium has just arrested a potential culprit that was involved in helping what had occured last night. But as I explained to some people here, the politicians (at least in Belgium) don't really care about closing borders and take action to terrorist attacks, they'd rather have more refugees so they can make their politic campaigns a success, rather than making the country safe & clean...

In my own opinion, the islam religion is getting abused heavily to justify it's somehow Allah's will, and I think that's what they are trying to do, spreading fear and hate against the muslim people, which I would like to see them leave this country aswell... Because they want the Belgian people adjust to their will, not the other way around, how fucking absurd is that?

I haven't seen catholic terrorism yet, or atleast, not this often...

It's not a new problem in Europe.

Sad though it is, it's the inevitable consequence of the western worlds weak and patronising foreign policy toward arabic and muslim nations in general.

We interfere with these country's stability to create states of anarchy, then act surprised that we've created the very environment that leads to these attacks.

Until someone has the guts to tackle the cause of the problem and put 'boots on the ground' in the Levant it's going to continue.

Unless weak European governments actually administer punishments befitting the crimes it will get worse.

Found this on facebook earlier from a University of California-Berkley student who was at the stadium when it started blowing up and I think it speaks volumes to the situation.

To my utter disgust, early this morning, ISIS claimed responsibility for the ‪#‎ParisAttacks‬. As more and more individuals continue to express their concerns via social media, it is clear that ‪#‎Xenophobic‬, ‪#‎Islamophobic‬, and anti-Refugee rhetoric has already begun to find ground.

PLEASE, as users of social media who have the capacity to influence the opinions of your followers and those closest to you, continue to promote intelligent dialogue that supersedes reactionary, nationalist, and Euro-centric ideals. ALWAYS remember that:

1) ISIS does NOT represent Islam.

2) This is NOT an issue of "The West" versus "The Middle East." As much as you find mourning for the people of great Western cultural capitals, please do not let the suffering of voiceless, oft-ignored, and back-burnered peoples go unaccounted for. In addition to traumatizing citizens in Europe, ISIS began *AND CONTINUES* its agenda by tormenting Muslim and non-Muslim families across its Syrian-Iraqi stronghold, while also maintaining influence in parts of Northern Africa.

3) Finally, as a brown, bearded man who is accustomed to fitting Western terrorist profiles since 9/11, its pretty clear that I will now have to take on the burden of deescalating situations each time I step into a public or unfamiliar space. I will be actively wearing more colors, saying "hello/bonjour" to more strangers, and avoiding looking extremely serious wherever possible. Make my life, and the lives of MILLIONS OF OTHERS, much easier: educate yourselves, remain open-minded, and don't let stereotypes distract you from actual signs of imminent danger.

With that, it is my hope that those directly and indirectly affected are able to find solace in this time of great need. Please keep your eyes and ears open, stand up to injustice, and remain steadfast. Actively seek mental health resources where necessary, and in cases where discrimination seems to be at play, please seek legal consultation or contact me and I'd love to help connect you with appropriate organizations.

Europe should start focusing on homeland defense, make some rules, boundaries and restrictions. They should go inside those closes communities and find out which imam is preaching to hatred and martyrdom and put an end to that mosque. After they control those communities they can go out fight ISIS.

If Europe won't recognize it's blindness, those attacks are only the tip of the iceberg

Don't you agree with me?

Yes, I totally agree with you but there is a problem.

Security may be better in the UK because we are an island but EU (European) law dictates that border controls between member states are not allowed. (EU Freedom of Movement Act).

We know, in the UK, which Imams in which Mosques are preaching hatred but we cannot arrest or deport them because under EU law it would infringe on their human rights. (EU Human Rights Act).

In 2017 the UK will vote on whether it wishes to remain a member of the EU.

Time to pull up the drawbridge.

That happened in April and it certainly was a big deal here .. why do people keep posting this same article saying no one cares about it? I missed something.

Sorry Jesse,

I posted it to highlight the difference in response and public outcry to a terrorist attack in France compared to Kenya.

Who the hell cares how or why it happened, it happened, I believe Gumby said it best and I will say it more bluntly, western nations seeming idea of carving out our own eyes to the worlds problems at large combined with either terrible or simply non-existent polices have not only endangered the west but endangered the entire world.

We all have a responsibility, as individuals, as nations to take the fight back to ISIS appropriately, just as when the Allies united against the aggression and crimes of the Third Reich and axis powers during the second world war, we can unite again or we can watch these attacks continue and get worse, my heart mourns for those lost in the Paris attacks.
