Please take Carnage club out of AOW rotation

As it's not AOW I do not understand what it does between AOW maps..

 

Sorry for the ppl who likes this but I see the players amount running out when carnage club is enabled..(from 24 to 6)

 

For the rest rencorner AOW is the best :)

Only bad thing about the map is that it's 30 mins long. 10-15 mins would be a lot better.

Pretty much what Manu and dippy said. I voted yes for carnage, but after playing it a couple times, with the pts thing, the 30 minutes timer, the "let's all mine the whole map and spawn points" and seeing how it sometimes depletes the server, honestly, it's tiring more than entertaining, and had I known I would've voted no.

With that said, if there's still more people liking it than disliking it, it's something to respect. So just let whoever likes it play those 30 minutes then come back when the map is over. Believe me, it's better to spend those 30 minutes doing something else that you enjoy rather than playing a map that you just dislike. And at the same time you allow those who like carnage to have fun. So everyone wins.

I already said so in a previous topic I think. 10 mins of carnage and 15 mins of sand is plenty enough.

Just to mess up with the remaining fraction of players who might enjoy it and didn't leave in the first minutes.

Also Shai, I know Blacky still has some work to do with the sniping server but is it that unplayable atm?

im with beer and Manuel on this. If it was 15 mins and the pts didnt die and the equal auto-rifles i think it could be a good map to have in rotation.

It polls at the start of every map? Why should another poll be started because one mod doesn't like it?

If the server doesn't vote to skip it, it doesn't skip IMO.

Well just because we're all in for 15 minutes carnage, why not, some fun here and there, but after 15 minutes it just feels like "who am I, wtf am I doing here and with my life, I should tell my children and wife/husband I love them". It's just too much, hence the impromptu polling, because after 15 minutes players start to leave because they've had more than enough, and that's an obvious fact. Makes no sense to have 10 players happy with 30 minutes carnage if that means that the rest of the rotation is gonna run on a 5 vs 5 playercount just because the rest of the players left tired of carnage.

Point taken. For that to be effective, we should advertise the fact that it's a shorter map time. It's otherwise too easy to miss the timer at the bottom of your screen, and quit anyway.

Yeah, so considering our playerbase is a solid one where we know each other quite well, we should just as mods spread the word between the players so they know and are aware that carnage will be in fact shorter and could end in half the time via a poll if they desire so, so they're aware about the mid game poll and dont leave as you say.

It wasn't about a mod liking it or not, it was about gameovering at 20 minutes(coouulld make rcbot do it). I tried again yesterday(while i had everything offline/adding another map version (speaking of szy has one more to test)) seeing if there was something I'm missing regarding 20 minutes map time, it just doesn't want to change.

Have to agree played 2 nights ago players dropped off like flies. 10 min is more than enough. We went from 20 to 6
