AndroIRC Tutorial

[Guard]

This is a tutorial on how to use AndroIRC. As far as I know, there is no way to auto-connect on startup using the non premium version. This is just how to setup and how to join channels.

 

1) Download it from google play or where ever you want to download it.

 

 

2) Open it and you should appear as this screen above.

 

 

3) Click on "Other..." and enter irc.rencorner.co

 

 

4) You should then see this.

 

 

5) Click the little down arrow at the top right.

 

 

6) Now click "Join channel" and enter the channel name E.G. #rc-terraria and #rc-terraria2

 

 

7) You have joined your channel! WHAY!!!!!! You can repeat steps 5 and 6 to join how many channels you want, but if you join too many/pm too many people it'll overrun and you won't see it.

 

 

8) (You can do this after step 3) Then go to the tab, named "RenCorner-Network". It should be the far left tab. Do /ns identify (pass) - like in the image.

 

 

9) You have your voice etc. 

 

10) Memorize this, and if anyone else asks about AndroIRC, please send them a link.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This section is about nicknames, so you don't need to keep entering it.

 

1) Click the 3 dots lines vertically.

 

 

2) Click "Settings"

 

 

3) Now you should end up on this. Click "Nickname" and enter the "Nickname", "Alternative", "Ident" and "Real Name" as the same as "Nickname", or whatever you want, but I'd enter them all as the same.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is for people who want their rank showing on irc from ingame.

 

1) Go onto "RenCorner-Network" and enter:

/msg RCterraria login (ingame name) (pass)

/msg RCterraria2 login (ingame name) (pass)

 

MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN #RC-TERRARIA AND #RC-TERRARIA2 CHANNELS FIRST OTHERWISE IT WON'T DO ANYTHING!

I dont personally use AndroIRC because i dont have an android.

But have u looked in the settings to see if there is an autoconnect? or scripts editor?
